"Random Textured" is an improved version of the original "Textured." The original "Textured" had ...
"Random Textured" is an improved version of the original "Textured." The original "Textured" had small fissured markings that all flowed in one general direction which means at reinstall time you had to make sure you cut and installed with the "grain" going in the same direction. To avoid that hassle Armstrong came out with the "RT " version. The small fissured markings are still there but they are randomized- they don't flow in one direction like the original. Much easier for ongoing replacements
