Good unit, but it has a quirk.

I like this refrigerator, but the ice service is wonky. The ice storage is not isolated from the defrost heat. The bottom cubes melt into a solid mass, and then you have to remove the bin, run hot water in it, and pick apart the cubes. Also, no matter what you do, the shelves stick to the ice bin, and you need to be careful opening the freezer door. Also, the alarm chine will sound almost every time you open the refrigerator door, even when you turn it off on the inside panel

[Rewarded Review] New Samsung 28 cu ft fridge

This new fridge has been amazing, so much space and such an elegant look on the outside. Lots of room for a family of 4 to store a weeks worth of groceries. Temp control is in degrees which makes getting just the right temp super easy. Shelves are very solid and spacious as well.

Overall the delivery service was excellent. Just notice the installers missed part on the refrigerator door when they reinstalled door. See pictures. Could they schedule appointment to place missing part on door?

Do not buy!

DO NOT BUY! Never got cold enough for food. The temp reading on the fridge said it was 37 degrees when in fact the temp never got lower than 50. Had to throw a lot of food out! Lowes knows they are junk and still sell them!

We've had our Refrigerator for 7 months now. We love it. It's solid tight close, quiet, roomy, and keeps our food cold. It's easy to keep clean and organized.

Way too good for a garage refridgerator!

We replaced a 20 year old garage refridge with this one. We didn't want a top or bottom freezer so a side by side was it. We don't have a water hookup outside so an icemaker wasn't required, but we were concerned about losing space to one. When the unit arrived we were totally suprised by the amount of room and minimal lose of space to the icemaker , it's huge inside! Also the quality of the finish is way to nice for the garage but the price point made it a great deal. If you like a side by side, I highly recommend this one!

New Home Fridge

The refrigerator arrived in perfect condition, in the time window I was given. The two people delivering the item, Norman and Roger, did a perfect, professional delivery. They were efficient, careful and respectful of my home and product. Couldn't be happier!

terrible product, zero customer support

I bought this unit in September 2022. 2 years later, and now out of warranty, the built in drawer runners are worn out and cracked. They are not fixable (since they are integrated into the liner) and neither Samsung nor Lowes are doing anything to help. I am now taking Samsung to the small claims court over this. (ps I bought the extended warranty from Lowe's and they are saying 'physical damage' is not covered. They seem unwilling to consider the difference between an issue that is the result of poor design/defective manufacturing and negligence/abuse. Don't waste your money on Samsung appliances or the Lowes extended warranty).

We needed a second refrigerator freezer for our garage and side by side was exactly what we was looking for. So far, so good.

Nice fit

Fits my space. I have a wall to the left of the refrigerator and this one allowed the left door to open and you would pull out the drawers on the left. Other refrigerators didn't allow this to happen.

Bought in April 2024. Stopped getting cold in September 2024. Samsung came out quickly and fixed it very quickly.

[Rewarded Review] Annual Repair

Once a year the refrigerator stops working ans the inside refrigeration unit has to be replaced. I have the Best Buy membership that comes with the warranty and the deductible at least has stayed the same from last year. I love it when it is working and Best Buy has been supportive during my annual call. I have 7 refrigerators in various places and this is the only one that i have had problems with for the last 10 years. The one I replaced still works so maybe it’s the Samsung brand.
