Fan design

You need to be handy to install. The protective film took a hour to remove. The fan is noisy. There is a lot of turbulence at the intake (mouth of the squirel cage), i tested it with a piece a paper, it is as if the air doesnt know where to go. 600cfm, i doubt it, the exaust door is only half open outside with speed 3.

28" inch model doesn't seem to ship

This fan seems like it should be a good fan - but I need the 28" and they ship the 30" instead. TWICE this has happened- 1st my handyman ordered - came in with box showing these MM's: 30.7"-14.3"-15.1" (model IKB01-30-AH). I re-ordered (since he's not always free). We both ordered (thru Homedepot.com) the 28" model --BOTH times they shipped the 30". Very frustrating. (His was ship to store, mine delivery). It's a weird post world, quality control amiss...

This hood insert was a really good purchase. It was a good price and my husband daily installed it (he is handy though). It’s pretty quiet and not as powerful as the last fan I had - but that other fan was way more than needed and about 5x the price so I am pleased with this one.

Overall Satisfied

Good value for the price. Delivery was a little slow. The only thing we were hoping for was a hard wire and this unfortunately didn’t have that so we did have to have an electrical put in a plug. Fan noise is average but seems to have good air uptake.

Very quite, love how it fits into the cupboard and is hidden. we did have to do some modification to the hole in the celing to get the vent to line up. Over all very happy with it.

The fan arrived on time and was installed with no problems. Highly recommend.

The lights in this unit started flashing about a month after install. They both flash in a uniform pattern that indicates some sort of electrical or board issue. It has been impossible to get support from the manufacturer through wayfair and I’ve been told the only thing I can do is get a replacement unit, which requires me to return the entire one I have. Given that’s it’s now built in to a custom wood range hood, I’d be destroying the customer piece and the 2 days of work to build and hang it. DO NOT buy this unit. But direct from a reputable manufacturer who will be willing to support you if there is an issue.

Great but the filters move when in place and rattle with the suction. I will contact to see if another set can be sent as it’s very loose.

This was ordered to fit a custom hood vent cabinet. Works well and has all the needed functions fan speeds, lights.

I've only had it installed for a couple of days. Everything works well, and I like how the filters can be put in the dishwasher. The highest speed is a bit louder than expected. Overall, a good product.

Good unit, have used it in 3 projects now and it's features are perfect for a built in unit.

The contractor I work with is making a custom vent hood over this particular insert and it is coming out absolutely flawlessly. The quality of this is much more than we anticipated. Cannot recommend it enough.

Very Unhappy with this hood vent. It comes with LED lights that are not standard size & not replaceable with readily available led bulbs. Wayfair is now charging me $35 to return this range hood. Very unpleased with this whole wayfair return procedure. Will not shop here again.
