Great fan

I purchased this fan as part of a kitchen remodel. The unit works great. It sucks a good amount of air, the lights are sufficient and install is easy as long as the box you're installing it in is sized appropriately. I highly recommend getting this fan in hand before you have the cabinet box made for it so you can properly size it.

Questionable quality

When I removed the unit out of the box I heard several loose metal pieces rattling inside the hood and found the fan assembly missing a mounting screw and nut. I ended up having to buy a pack of machine screws and nuts so that I can secure the fan properly. Obviously someone is asleep in the "Quality Control" department. This is unacceptable at this price point. This has a "luxury" aesthetic but lacks the expected build quality.

Gorgeous addition to our kitchen

The hood fits perfectly into the theme of our 100 year old farm house. The option to add the stainless steel moulding was the perfect touch. We only have 7' ceilings so had to purchase the short ceiling kit in addition to the hood. We went with the recirculating option and while it does a good job we mY end up doing a direct vent as we can still set off the smoke detector! It's not a quiet fan by any means but it is great quality for a very reasonable price.

Looks great

I bought the hood for a kitchen remodel. What caught my attention was the look, but more importantly was the power to move the hot air from the stove top. Dimensions were exact but be car of the hood itself as to avoid needing to make any modifications to allow a proper fit. Thankfully my hood was wood so modifications were easy but if yours is metal it may be more difficult. The only complaint were the directions that came with the unit as they definitely did not match up to the unit itself. Also, the venting supplies is made of cheap flexible plastic. To set up properly requires rigid metal ventilation. I had to get creative to get the metal to fit properly with the plastic fitting. Take your time though and install it correctly and you will be pleased. I certainly am this far.

Great Customer Service!!

I got my insert a year ago and the lights stopped working. I called to order parts, and didn’t even remember that I had a warranty. The agent knew what I needed as soon as I described the problem and sent a little box with parts. I broke a wire trying to disconnect it and wasn’t too upset because it was so easy and quick to get the parts the first time. When I grabbed the box to get a number to call I found a replacement wire for the one I broke. She knew what I needed before I knew I needed it. So glad I did business with this company!!!! Love the hood too.

Lovely and so well made!

After hunting high and low for a beautiful range hood for my new kitchen I came across this one and was really pleased to see the price. It was just what I was looking for AND it included the fan system. I received it quickly after ordering and couldnt wait to open the box and take a look. I was thrilled to see it is just as lovely as it looks online. I dont have it up yet as my kitchen hasnt been started yet. I will take a picture and post here as soon as the kitchen is complete. Do not hesitate to purchase this. Its awesome.

Awesome and Highly Recommended!

We could not be happier with our new hood insert. Strong enough to suck the fillings from your teeth, yet quiet enough not to be obtrusive. It's decorative front is made of "REAL" stainless steel (non-magnetic) and not that cheap stuff used by most foreign manufacturers now days to wrap most of our modern appliances!
