Great cooktop!

The cooktop looks great and has great features, is easy to use and easy to clean. Another thing that I love is that if you don’t remember if you turned off the cooktop, you can check it on in the app, tell me if it’s not awesome? I love it!!

My new cooktop

I had a GE cooktop when we first moved in our house. My husband dropped a glass on it and cracked the corner. So we bought a new one. So far I love it. It's fine. If you take good care of it it will last you a long time.

Just had it installed. Looks very nice and easy to operate. so far it has been working very smoothly.

The cooktop's sleek appearance is appealing to me. The fit was perfect and I appreciate the ability to adjust size on two burners and synchronize temperature on the other two. Generally satisfied with the recent upgrade.

Great modern features

Full wifi connectivity!! This cooktop fit perfectly in the 30" cutout we had for the JennAir cooktop we had before. Features are modern and what you'd expect from a top of the line cooktop. The touch controls respond smoothly and immediately. It does seem to scratch easily though so beware older pans/pots, especially if they have been used on the grates of a gas range/cooktop!

We like GE appliances

We liked the looks of the cooktop as hit matched our other appliances.

Easy to use

Easy to use, good looking but heating up is slow, maybe because I am so used to gas stove, need to get use to it.

Great replacement for 17 year GE old cooktop

Only disappointing feature is the sound level of the chime. It is barely audible. I was under the impression from the description on the GE page that it was adjustable. This is not the case. Be prepared to have an additional old fashioned kitchen timer at hand.

GLASS COOKTOP

I have been using our GE "coil" electric cooktop since 1972, when we moved into our new home. Over time I had to replace the coils, one by one due to the coils bending OR not fully heating. I have had my new GE Profile cooktop since July 24, 2024. I LOVE IT! The cooktop heats instantly and the heat can be controlled according to what you are cooking. There are FIVE cooking areas. I wish that I had this experience 30 years ago. The cleanup is easy and not a problem. I love all of my GE appliances.

Awesome product, the burners heat immediately and efficiently. The product looks rich and the touch controls are flawless. Cleanup is effortless. Love this product!

Induce a food coma

We turn it on and the stovetop gets hot. Induction is better than gas, which can pose hazards to life and house.

Failed after 4 days, service and support poor

When received, I was very happy with the product. However, within 4 days the stove top failed. GE Scheduled repairs two times. The first time the repair company did not show up and call when to voice mail and were not returned. The second time, the new and different company would not come on the day provided by GE and did not come until the next day. The repair man was competent and seems to have done a good job. However, at the end of the repair, he presented me with a bill. Apparently he had not indication that this was a warranty job. In the end, he left without payment. I bought this new unit to replace a monarch stove top that was working but not 100%. I found myself with no working stove at all for week. Now, I paid over $2,000 for a stove that failed after 4 days of use and had two failures. I do not like having a repaired product, instead of new, especially since I do not trust it not to fail again. I feel that GE should have replaced the defective stovetop with a new one.

Glass cooktop

Have only been using for less than a month, but so far, it's handling almost everything our previous range did. Controls are easy to use and cleanup hasn't been too bad. Only wish would be to have another larger burner for pans bigger than the current largest burner

Quick Boil is Faster than Quick!

I love my new GE Profile Radiant Cooktop. It heats up very quickly, is easy to operate, and looks terrific. I especially love the quick boil feature. It's amazing.

I was updating my appliances and this was the only model that fit in the space. It’s okay but I would have preferred actual knobs to regulate the heat, etc. These new fangled things are beyond us old people.
