Loved the pan when I ordered it. Rim of the pan is not smooth. Also, when I reheat noodles or rice on a low flame, it sticks to the bottom of the pan and is VERY difficult to remove. I will keep the two pans, but will purchase a Teflon based pan for noodles and rice to make clean up much easier

Elegant.

Great saucepan- size, finish, weight. Elegant handle. Debated getting one with a glass lid, but this version of the tri ply at Walmart is less expensive than other versions (China vs Brazil apparently in construction) and really just a great pan.

Professional performance

I've used this 3-qt pan for years and it still performs like any professional cookware. It still looks beautiful as well.

The flatness of the edge is quite bad. Returned it

My go-to Sauce Pan

I use this 3-quart sauce pan constantly. It cleans like a dream, and if there are any marks or discolorations, a little BarKeepers Friend powder makes it gleam like new. A few reviews have commented on its size similarity to the 4 quart, except for the height. That is true, but I prefer the 3-quart because it's lighter than the 4-quart, making it easier to handle. Also, I never even fill up the 3-quart size, so don't need the 4-quart size. If I do need a pot to hold a lot, I use my Tramontina Tri-Ply Clad 8-quart saucepan, which is also a gem.

Very High Quality and Bargsin Prices

We bought this item to add to a larger set of Tramintino Tri-Oly cookware we previously purchased from Walmart. Several years ago I read a review from Americas Test Kitchen and they rated the Tramintino set as a best value. On that review we purchased the set. We have been extremely pleased. These are if the same quality as brands like All Clad, but far less expensive.

Excellent cookware

The bottom, of the cookware heats evenly and cooks the food fast. Love this cookware! Works, so well on our glass top electric stove. I am going to buy more pieces of cookware.

3 ply Tramontina pans

Excellent, I wanted to replace my 3 ply set from many hears ago and this is perfect. I looked at other brands but the handles seemed to slim especially when the pots were full. Also, the pans have heated quickly without turning the heat to high. I thoroughly enjoy cooking with them.

Great value for the money!

Other tri-ply aluminum core pans are MUCH more expensive. Walmart used to carry Better Homes and Gardens pans like this, guess this is the replacement. I ruined my 3-Qt pan by leaving it on the stove for hours--oops. Replaced it with this. Just remember it cooks great on LOW heat--doesn't stick--heavenly.

Good product, odd sizing

This is a great sauce pan but the size of the 3 quart pan is too similar to the 4 quart pan (same diameter but different height). My wife decided to return it, not because of any problem except its similarity to her 4 quart pan.

great pan

We bought this as a addition to our Tramontina Tri-ply set, which we love. It is worth noting that it is the same diameter (but shorter) than the 4 qt pan, so it uses the same lid (good) but it doesn't stack (bad),

Great product and Great price

I bought this pan after much research. I am a fan of Tramontina brand. It's a great product at a great price. I purchased this same pan a few years ago and made a huge goof. I filled it with water and put it on my smooth top cook top on high to boil the water.....totally forgot about it and went to bed. It 'cooked' all night long on high. The next morning it was dry but still intact. My cooktop was totally fine. The pan was somewhat warped but I could still use it......til I got around to ordering another one. Don't recommend that trick to others. But another pan of lesser quality would probably have damaged the cooktop...much less stood up to test and kept on cooking.

3 qt vs 4 qt

The 3 qt is same size in diameter as the 4 qt because it uses same size lid but there is a distinct difference in exactly how much it holds which is 3 qt liquid. I measured my 4 qt filling it with measured water against the 3 qt thus the 3 qt is truly 3 qt. Again Tramontina quality is unbeatable in workmanship leaving nothing to be desired.

sturdy and nice looking

like everything about it except handle design; completely convex form and slick surface make stable grip of heavy saucepan + contents difficult.
