Gorgeous addition to our kitchen

The hood fits perfectly into the theme of our 100 year old farm house. The option to add the stainless steel moulding was the perfect touch. We only have 7' ceilings so had to purchase the short ceiling kit in addition to the hood. We went with the recirculating option and while it does a good job we mY end up doing a direct vent as we can still set off the smoke detector! It's not a quiet fan by any means but it is great quality for a very reasonable price.

Classic but loud

Bought the 30" model as part of our kitchen reno. Love the look and quality of the vent hood. It works very well, almost too well, at pulling smoke away. As many others have said, it is a bit loud even at the lowest setting, but not so loud that I would consider sending this back for a quieter model. Also wish it had two levels for lighting. Comes with just one, which is fine and bright enough. Would be nice to have a lower light setting.

Fan Randomly Shuts Off

This range hood is garbage. It worked fine for about 2 weeks, and after that, every time I use the fan...it shuts off after about 5 minutes and seemingly goes through a reset procedure that can last anywhere between 5 minutes and 5 hours. So far, it's always at least come back to life, but without fail, the next time I use the fan...the same thing happens. It doesn't matter if the fan is on the lowest setting or the highest setting, it always shuts off after ~5 minutes.

The product is fine, but I am very disappointed with Home Depot. They shipped me a used hood with missing parts. Because I am in a time crunch, I need to make it work. However, when paying full price I would expect an unopened, not used product. I hope HD can make this right.

It's a little louder because it is more powerful than my old microwave vent. However it works great and looks great. The steel is nice and thick compared to most appliances. Definitely worth the money. Also made in the USA.

I was unfamiliar with ZLine, but saw some good reviews and thought it looked a bit better than cheaper imports. I was very pleased when it arrived to see it is built very solid, has excellent functionality, easy installation, and works (it sucks) great! With a large family, we tend to wear out appliances quicker than average, and this is far and away better than any of our prior vent hoods. 4 powerful speeds, balanced & quiet, easy to clean, attractive.

Works fine. But the finish is horrible. Might have been an open box item. Actually I order it twice. The first one was also open box and was missing accessories so I returned it and ordered it again. There a a lot of scratches on the edge. We are on lockdown so I just went ahead and installed it.

Lovely and so well made!

After hunting high and low for a beautiful range hood for my new kitchen I came across this one and was really pleased to see the price. It was just what I was looking for AND it included the fan system. I received it quickly after ordering and couldnt wait to open the box and take a look. I was thrilled to see it is just as lovely as it looks online. I dont have it up yet as my kitchen hasnt been started yet. I will take a picture and post here as soon as the kitchen is complete. Do not hesitate to purchase this. Its awesome.

Beautiful

The appearance of this hood is beautiful. It was very easy to install with the help of 1 other for lifting. The lighting is perfect. I really like the 4 speed option because sometimes you just don't need a jet engine for the small jobs! The only reason I may not give this 5 stars is because of the touch panel. You have to press your finger exactly right or the buttons won't work. At first I thought it was not working but quickly realized there is a certain way you have to apply your finger

This hood is advertised as powerful yet quiet. It is powerful but extremely loud. Like a vacuum cleaner. You have to shout to be heard over it. I sent a video of it to zline and was told mine is normal loudness not a defect. I'm stuck with it. I will use it periodically to suck all the heat smoke away then turn it back off because it's too annoying to leave on. I can see needing it if you cook at really high temps making a lot of smoke and heat. I don't do that often and I cook daily. I guess I should have gotten a cheaper less powerful hood that can be left on without having to wear ear plugs.
