[Rewarded Review] Unconventional Design Solution

At first glance I was confused why Gasland had chosen to create a different layout for the conventional 4 burner cooktop. Usually, the largest burner is next to the controls when controls are placed to the right of burners. Gasland has chosen to put the two medium burners next to controls. After some thought I actually liked this change because in my experience after several years of use what typically happens is the large burner control fails to initiate the ignitor. The reason is because cooking oils typically cause that switch to fail electrical continuity. In most households the largest burner is the most frequently used burner so this control is frequently the one that fails first. By locating on the opposite side from controls that failure mode should be averted.
