Worst customer service ever!

Purchased this cooktop for a remodel that was being done. Bought all of the appliances as soon as we started working. A couple of months went by. Had the cooktop professionally installed and it wouldn't even turn on. A different cooktop has been installed and it works fine so the problem is that obviously this one was defective. When I tried to return it to the Lowe's store, I was told that a refund can't be given because 1) online orders have a 48 hour return window and 2) Lowe's has changed their policy and no returns can be accepted after 90 days. Then I asked for a store credit and was told no. They told me that my only alternative is to contact Gasland myself and see if they MIGHT possibly refund it. But they have no contact information for Gasland, so I have to research that too. To have a return window of 48 hours for online orders is the most ridiculous thing ever but to even have a return window of 90 days is also ridiculous. Construction projects often take longer than that and with the supply chain issues, we can't wait until the last minute to order things needed. Lowe's I'm very disappointed you!!

Retrofit for Jenn-Air gas range

I used a couple of these units to convert my Jenn-Air downdraft range from gas to induction cooking. I had to trim the bottom an eighth of an inch to fit the length of the opening, otherwise it was an easy retrofit.

The delivery time was great. The price even better but, I wasn't expecting to have to use electricity, a plug in to operate it. I was to use this product on a floating kitchen island.

Product is small and sleek. Has a lock and had induction technology. Unit is load and particular about cookware for it to work.

Heats quickly/compact size

I don't know anything about induction cooktops and hadn't used them before. It is installed and working very well. It works with cast iron cookware and specific pots and pans (that Rachel Ray sells and others). We bought it because of the size, safety features and the way the unit sits into the countertop. It allowed us to set up a small, deep (food truck-sized) sink and the two-burner induction unit on a 21" depth vanity cabinet base. Connect it to a single-pole, 30amp breaker. It was a learning curve, both in its initial setup and learning to turn on. The customer service was very good - they have a responsive staff, Facebook page and phone number to call.

Ordered this item for a Cabin we were building. Unfortunately when we went to install it the regulator was bad. Purchased another regulator and replaced however back burner did not work. Tried to call Overstock Customer Service. Was advised a 30 hour wait time, so opted for texting customer service. That took about an hour. Was advised couldn't help with anything because it was past the return window. Guess shouldn't have bought this ahead of time.

Purchased last month for a smaller kitchen our in-law suite and it works great so far. Would recommend this product for kitchens with smaller spaces, looks great!

Good low cost option

Easy to install and simple operation. Only uses 2 wires for 220v wiring (red and black for typical 4 conductor cable. Can install with a 2-10 conductor. The cooktop doesn't have a ground connection.
