Works great, sturdy knobs, looks good. The surface is hard to clean and keep shiny.

Beautiful product

The look of the product is outstanding. The ease of installation was phenomenal and my husband didn't say any single curse words. We upgraded our entire kitchen in a remodel and the stove we replaced was original to the house from 1973. It was the old burner stovetop separate from the ovens and had one knob broken off. This is most definitely an upgrade for our kitchen!

Cooktop features

We are gradually becoming more accustomed to electric cooktop. One of the features for which we have no use is the warming unit. It is very slow to produce any useable heat, so it is seldom of any use. As a result we only have four functional units on the cooktop.

Do your research. I didn’t.

I feel the warming burner is a waste of useful space. I need burners to be able to cook food not worrying about keeping it warm. Also I have owned 4 glass cook tops and I never had one with a greasy film like this one. It streaks horribly.

Please Don't Buy

For the love of any deity please look elsewhere. Bought this and within a year, it needed two repairs. Currently still waiting for a technician to come for the 4th time for the second repair and am two weeks out without a stove. Projected a third. The stove electrical part that connects to the house electricity burned out and it's a safety issue. Parts seem difficult to come by and each repair takes a minimum of 3 trips. The product sucks, the GE service sucks. This will be my last GE product.

Measure site of the old stovetop prior to purchase

The product is the right size for the opening in an old house. The stovetop looks great and a very nice addition to our kitchen.

Worth every penny

At first glance, we didn’t know what to expect of this unit. But, after the unit was installed and we started to use it, it was surprisingly great addition to our appliances. We are very pleased using this new stove top.

Looks good

So far I like it. It didn’t quite fill out the drop in space but that isn’t your fault. The only thing I have noticed is that the burners stay hot longer than my last one.

Attractive

The cooktop, with stainless steel knobs, is attractive and was reasonably priced. Easy to install and has 5 burners.

Operation's/Functionality Problems

We purchased this product in 2021. Three years later, in 2024, we started experiencing pops and sizzling noises, sparks on the ON elements, and flickering light. We decided to stop using the cooktop two weeks ago. Now, we are looking to buy another product. Unfortunately, the manufacturer provides a one-year warranty. An electric cooktop should not break down in three years. This is a safety issue that might require immediate attention. That says a lot about the quality of the product. I hope GE can help solve this issue. We would like to hear from the manufacturer about the problems described.
