Lowe's has a terrible appliance return policy.

It cracked the day after install, and Lowe's would not let me return it. Lowes has a terrible appliance return policy. Plus the local Lowe's branch hung up on me 4 times before I had to ask for a manager to get assistance. Go Anywhere else besides Lowe's.

Nice but the white on one burner came off already

I really like this cooktop and it was easy to install but on 1 of the burners the white already came off and we haven't had it a month yet! Burners need cleaned after each use also which is annoying and I never thought this would happen. I like how it looks and the knobs are so easy to see and use but am so disappointed that the white is coming off the 1 burner after only using it just a few times. I can only imagine what it will look like in a year or 2!

awesome cooktop

Yes very good cook.too. Easy to install and the knobs work like a dream. It looks really good and it turns on and off perfectly excellent cooktop should buy it. I will use it for all my properties.

Missing Parts

The cooktop came in and looks nice. However I cannot install because all of the items that should be included are missing. This includes the clamps, screws, foam tape as well as manual. When I called Cosmo it took two times to get a convoluted process to replace missing items. I can’t even get a firm shipping time as they have to review it first. May just put this in the box and take it to Home Depot for a refund

Easy Installation!

The product was well packaged. The dimensions were exactly as illustrated in the product data. The installation was very straight forward. The only suggestion I'd make is to have wire nuts on hand for the electrical connections. I would have preferred the new wires to have the insulation stripped better.

cooktop I got was defective

my cooktop has a defective burner. cosmo warranty will on replace parts after you pay a professional server repair person to diagnose it and provide the receipt from a professional. Cosmo will not cover the cost of the diagnostic s. ours was defective on install. buyer beware. either spend the extra money on a the lowes warranty (lowes only allows returns for 48 hours on major appliances) so make sure you cover yourself if you buy this brand. and the second note, it looks really nice. but I cannot vouch for long term quality because initial quality was not good

Came in broken

I was really excited when this item arrived, but when I opened it the glass was completely shattered. There were also small cracks as if the top had been dropped in a pile of rocks before it was packaged into the box. There wasn’t as much white where the burners are that were in the pictures so that was a bummer as well.

I've only had it about a month and so far I am very please with this cooktop. Actually, I'm loving it more everyday. I like that the knobs are attractive, sturdy, metal and off to the side away from the heating elements. I especially love the large center dual element and the smaller dual element which can translate to an additional two elements. The instruction booklet does not describe how to use the dual elements... you have to turn/click the knob past the high setting to engage the outer/full dual element. At first, I thought my cooktop dials were not working so I called customer service and they walked me through the process. By the way, Cosmo has excellent customer service. Also, not in the booklet, are the wattages for each element. They range from 750 max to 2500 max. Knowing the heating capability of each element has tremendous value and advantage to the cook. I made a small, handy card noting the wattage for each element for easy reference until I learn them by heart. You can find the wattage for each element in the spec sheet. I am very happy with my beautiful, new cooktop.
