Suction power of the range hood is very weak, and not as described on Wayfair’s website. Very very bad product. I need a full refund but somewhere requires Huselane’s approval, this is not making any sense

Looks fabulous but kitchen installer and I couldn’t get the round filter in, despite watching the video. Bad design aspect here. Using it with the square filter only.

The unit is very noisy when the fan is running. The information provided in the description in terms of the noise level is not accurate. It is unbearably loud.

Great looking fan. Nice and simple when it's off, and looks good when it's lit up. You need to guess where the controls are when it's fully off, but once you touch it, the controls light up.

product arrived and installed. looks very nice and match with my stove. the issue is it doesn't suck out the odor even on high. I bought it for looks and does its job. BUT IT DOESN'T, very upsetting

Love the sleek design and performance

I bought the 36" version of this hood and had it installed about 18 months ago. I LOVE the sleek, modern design and that it has a chimney extender for our 9+ foot ceilings. It looked a little tricky to install but my friend got it up eventually. Should be two person job. The exhaust duct was initially too long and was blocking the vent from opening when it was turned on. Thankfully we figured this out because at first it was extremely loud and wasn't venting properly. After my friend cut down the duct it worked great! It is pretty loud on the highest setting but bearable on setting one which is where I mostly set it (unless I'm making something really smoky or smelly). It does its job very well. I like that the display panel isn't obvious when not in use, and that you can switch the light on without turning on the fan controls. Both of the LED lights illuminating the cooktop have started flickering recently and I will be replacing them. This surprised me since LED lights usually last a long time, but maybe the vibrations mess with their longevity. They are only $10 each for the replacements, hopefully they aren't hard to install.

The hood arrived without damage. It was easy to mount. It appears to be working without any problems. The style is slim-lined and not bulky in our modest kitchen. The only concern we have is attaching the charcoal filters. There is very little room to slip a hand inside and snap on the filters.

[Rewarded Review] Nice Clean Lines

Lets take a look at this very nice range hood. This range hood has very clean lines so much so that the only thing that you can see on the front is just one soft touch button. Click that on and you have four more buttons that light up in blue. These buttons control fan speed (low medium and high), light two LED's (low and high) and also a timer button that can delay the fan shut down. The fan shut down delay is a feature when you are done cooking and want to remove more heat from the kitchen but don't want to stand around waiting.

Good experience overall

I liked its suction power at the highest setting. Frying fish was the ultimate test of the unit for me. It passed. Also, I liked the auto shutoff timer. I didn't like the difficulty of installation. But my kitchen ceiling is 9.5 feet high and sloped at an angle. I suggest keeping the protective covering on the unit until completely installed. The metal scratches easily.

useless because filters are unavailable

I bought this hood because of the option to vent to the outside or use a filter. When we discovered a stud behind where we installed it, we figured no problem. But the filters have been out of stock for more than four months and no guarantee that we’ll ever get them. Filters are only available from the manufacturer.

Terrific product

Before ordering I did extensive measurement and discovered old ductwork to outside. I was able to construct a wall mount in front of an unused window over the range, connect the Hauslane to the structure and to the old duct work. The range hood works beautifully, especially with a family member who does a lot of high heat range cooking. Smoke and odors are quickly removed from the house while cooking. The really attractive hood inspired some redecorating in the old kitchen. We are very happy with the purchase.

Hood looks good and it really extract more air of my old one. The noise I think is less than the old one but I'm not using the hose that came with it, I use the existing one that is smaller and that could be a factor to hear higher sound. Something that I didn't received was the bracket that holds the metal cover on the top of the wall, but I used the old one and it just worked fine. So far it has been working fine, lets see how long it last.

Poor instructions and annoyingly loud

The specifications for this hood WM739 states sones 1.55 to 3.8. that is equivalent to 33 to 47 decibels respectfully. On LOW at 10 ft away (where my island is) using a sound meter this unit is 77 decibels, you can't have a comfortable conversation. Referencing a sound chart ratings above 70 are considered annoying. This unit certainly is. I tried everything including installing sound damping installation material. Nothing helped. I am very mechanical and do follow instructions. Thank goodness for Kevin at Hauslanes customer service otherwise I would never of been able to figure out how to install the recirculating filters. This was to be the finishing touches to my newly renovated kitchen. It is the only appliance that I wish I didn't purchase. Thank goodness it's a nice modern looking hood.

Finally! This hood fits my ceiling

I have been looking around for a very long time and there are not too many options out there that has a chimney cover fits up to 10 foot ceiling. Hauslane has extended chimney covers for all their models. I wish I come across them sooner.

The chimney is not stainless

I love this range hood. It was easy to install and it looks great in my tiny kitchen. I set it up ductless and the filters have to be purchased from hauslane (Lowes does not carry them). Also, the chimney is a cool off-white, a little disappointing given the description says stainless and black glass. The built-in lights are perfect at dim or bright. It is loud, but for a single motor 900 cfm unit, that is to be expected.

Suction power is fantastic!

This range hood moves air like no others! It removes all smoke coming out the wok. Whether it's stir-fried, deep fried or grilling, this beast can take it all! However, Hauslane can improve the installation instructions. It is not clear but customer service was helpful. Tony answered all my questions. I would recommend it to my friends.
