Assembly Screws in the Squirrel Cage!

Yup. It was excessively loud with a very high pitch squeal and sometimes rattling sound in the squirrel cage. There was a dozen ss assembly screws inside. Once I got those out it ran much quieter and at a much lower pitch but concerns me on long term build quality.

Shipped in very good protective packaging, no damage to product even though UPS made several holes in the outer box. Fit was exactly per measurements in description and materials supplied for installation was good quality. I used the strips of plywood from the packaging to prep the sides of the hood opening (perfect sizes). I had an intermittent switch but response from customer service was fast and now waiting for spares to be sent to me.

We ordered a 30" inch stove vent insert. Came very well packaged. This unit has a squirrel cage fan about 8". It's quiet and moves a lot of air. LED lights are adequate. Grates look like a commercial unit.

Very nice product and appears well-made. If the fan is on higher than the lowest speed, it does rattle the grills somewhat but they are not flimsy. The fan is very strong. I set this up as a ventless, but you can also vent it easily. Extremely easy to install.

When I received my range hood, the plastic damper on the inside tabs were broken and that piece is non-usable anymore

Much louder than I was expecting. Lights are good and speed controls are good.

Nightmare

It came missing the Vent Pipe adapter, the Air Outlet and the Smoke Pipe!!!! Only the carbon filter and the hood range. I had to pay the installer for his time anyways. I returned it to Home Depot and they called Vevor to make sure they would resend the item with all the parts that were missed the first time. I received the second order today, the same parts are still missing. Thinking I was wrong, I checked the book that it came with and all of these items are listed. Vevor didn't answer calls.

This vent hood insert was bought for a kitchen remodel. The install went well and it worked without issues until I left the light on overnight, then tried to use the fan the next morning. The fan motor is close to the light bulbs which get very hot. The fan motor would only then come on after the lights were off for a while and the motor cooled off. If I can’t use the lights and the fan at the same time, it’s pretty useless to me. But it’s already installed so there’s that. Just be aware of this design flaw when making your purchase choice.

Unfortunately, the exhaust was too loud even on “low”…. I returned it.

Was sorta difficult to install but looks really good once done.

Range Hood

Super product was a little daunting with the installation (DYI) due to the template was a little different for my cabinet. Some adjustments made and we love this range hood! Thanks

Almost Perfect

Vevor Range Hood is almost perfect , would have given 5 starts all around but had some issues.

Very noisy

Had a handyman install this. Measured the dB after installation and on setting 3, it is 73 dB and the listed paperwork says 63. Setting one measured at 68. It is very loud, but does have good suck.

You need a hood, not 800 CFM

Its 11.5in from the wall so it only covers the back burners. Even with 800CFM it only sucks a portion of the fumes

It works great. Just a little loud.

I waited about half a year to review because I wanted to make sure that it would work as well as it looks. It looks great and works great also.

We just installed it in our newly remodeled kitchen. I’m not sure how it works yet since our kitchen isn’t operating yet. However, I was disappointed by the buttons that stick out. The picture shows it at an angle, so just be aware that it has buttons popping out, and it’s not flush.

Missing part in packaging.

Frustrated! Fan was shipped with a broken air outlet. I've submitted questions twice trying to find out how to get a new air outlet. Never received a response.
