LED Lights for Revenue Enhancement

Purchased earlier in the year and installed after having some other work done in the kitchen. Have had this installd and running now for three or four months. Good looking range hood with powerful fans. Love the easy cleaning of the baffle filter. Cons - use of fan/light controls are obfuscated and require reading the instruction manual. Left LED light is already failing and flashes in a VERY ANNYOING MANNER; only replacement source is ZLINE as nobody else - not even HD - carries.

Too loud and tough to clean. LED gone in a month

its powerful but a bit too loud and its a nightmare to clean. also the hood came with no hardware.to install. both LED lights fkicker and ultimately stop on less than 1 month. bad quality they won't even come to chnage the led or pay for changing the led.

Absolutely beautiful!!!

I love love love this range hood. Its great quality, solid and very well made. I will be using it with my all white cabinets, white countertops and stainless appliances. I chose this because its eye catching,and different enough that I know I wont see it in anyone elses kitchen.

Gorgeous addition to our kitchen

The hood fits perfectly into the theme of our 100 year old farm house. The option to add the stainless steel moulding was the perfect touch. We only have 7' ceilings so had to purchase the short ceiling kit in addition to the hood. We went with the recirculating option and while it does a good job we mY end up doing a direct vent as we can still set off the smoke detector! It's not a quiet fan by any means but it is great quality for a very reasonable price.

Okay, but could be better

I had high hopes for the range hood. Unfortunately, it took three tries to get one that was undamaged. Further, the installation instructions were very generic, so even our contractor had some challenges getting the hood installed. Finally, as others have suggested, the range hood is pretty loud, even at its lowest fan setting.

Great product. The three fan settings (600 cfm max.) are perfectly suited for different requirements. Although the fans (even in quiet mode) can be quite noisy. But they do the job of pushing out most of the kitchen odors even thorough a long (>12') of exhaust duct.

Range Hood and Range looks amazing.

First time ordering through this company, really couldn't find any reviews online so I was a little worried at first. But my range hood and range I ordered they look amazing in my kitchen! Just received the items 2 days later after stated. However, I'd buy again from them and would recommend.

High End Products, Excellent Customer Service

I've been waiting for any ZLine Under Cabinet Hood Range to go on sale. I found Home Outlet Direct through google. They had a promotion with free shipping, no sales tax, and an extra 10% off. I'm glad I got a good deal on this Range Hood. Looks better in person and customer service was excellent. They shipped fast and Fedex called to schedule delivery since it came on a wooden crate. Very easy to install, but you need more than one person to help you do the install. ZLine provides videos on youtube on how to install this Range Hood.

I am very happy with this range hood. We replaced our under the cabinet microwave/hood range to this ZLINE and let me tell you, it takes the smell of food completely out of our house, it fits in perfect with the stainless steel and it is attractive. I would definitely recommend this hood range.

Quality Stainless, good lines

Happy overall with the unit. Quality built, clean lines, good stainless steel. Beeper for the light on off is very loud. Wish it could be adjusted. And while I know the response will be they have the quietest fans in the industry, it is a bit loud. But short of having a unit with a remote fan motor, I'm not sure how much quieter it could be.

This has been an excellent fan, good lighting and excellent draw. Installation can be a bit tedious as screw holes are a bit difficult to access and the hood has some weight. Definitely a two man operation. Don't attempt alone. Would buy again.

[Rewarded Review] Totally Changed My Cooking!

Before I got this hood there were things I dreaded cooking or just would not cook it due to lingering odors. if I cooked bacon, sausage, broccoli or simply baked chicken in my oven the smell lingered in my home for days even with ceiling fan on and window opened and forget about broiling! BUT NO MORE!!I can now cook anything and not have one stench linger in my house nothing natta zero 0!!!! This thing is powerful and looks nice too! And unlike many other hoods this particular range hood can be installed up to 36" from the top of stove. I have mine at 35" because we are tall and didn't want it in our face. It's also much sleeker than most especially for its power. Please please have a pro install this. We first had it installed by our kitchen contractor the thing rattled, vibrated, made so much noise and didn't work properly and if you look at troubleshooting in the manual it states the reason is it's not installed properly so we had Lowes subcontractor come out and the hood works beautifully. They did an awesome job. I love this hood and it's worth every penny. This hood is so powerful the high setting doesn't need to be on long (or at all).It's recommended to turn it on a few minutes before you start cooking and leave it on a few minutes after which I do but sometimes forget but never ever have any smells from cooking anymore. It does have a timer on it and two lights underneath and the grates are dishwasher safe!! This was the best investment I've ever made for my kitchen. Thank you Z Line and Lowes!!

Lovely and so well made!

After hunting high and low for a beautiful range hood for my new kitchen I came across this one and was really pleased to see the price. It was just what I was looking for AND it included the fan system. I received it quickly after ordering and couldnt wait to open the box and take a look. I was thrilled to see it is just as lovely as it looks online. I dont have it up yet as my kitchen hasnt been started yet. I will take a picture and post here as soon as the kitchen is complete. Do not hesitate to purchase this. Its awesome.

Spoke with a very helpful person at Farmhouse kitchen before I bought the item. Was so patient when my contractor had questions. was told that the item might b received in a week and was pleasently surprised when it arrived within 2 days. The hood looks great and makes a nice addition to my new itchen. I highly recomment this company and product.
