Beautiful but too large for normal rooms

I ordered this pendant light as an intended replacement for a dim Edison cage light over the kitchen sink in one of our rental houses. I was thinking it was 16 - 18 inches in diameter but was surprised that it is 32 inches in diameter and 16 inches high with a 6 foot long cord. Quality-wise, this light appears to be well made and the gold-leaf interior is quite beautiful. The length of the wire to hang it is adjustable and the light is not as heavy as it looks due to the fact the the dome is some kind of metal. I originally though tit was plastic or fiberglass, but it rang like a bell when I accidentally bumped it against a chair. You need a very large room with a very high ceiling to do justice to this beautiful pendant light. I wish I had a good place for it in my house.

Quality-wise, this light appears to be well made and the gold-leaf interior is quite beautiful. You need a very large room with a very high ceiling to do justice to this beautiful pendant light.

The largest Pendant of the all !

So This light is big im mean really big. 32 inches across and close to 20 inches high without the 4 inch mounting ring. If you mount this with the minimum cord lenth 4 Inches, your looking at the bottom of the light being 24 inches. You need a tall ceiling to really make this pendant work. The material , finish are excellent. Like to color and the goldm interior make a great reflection for the fixed Led system. Yes fixed when it goes you will need to figure something out. I.m n ot a great fan of fixed LED bulbs for that reason especially on a expensive light that shouldn't be a throw away . Changing the light LED could be expensive if you don't, have the skillset. So the light puts out enough light more on the warmer side of the spectrum , it is dimmable but you will need a electronic low voltage(ELV) dimmer not included. This is not a beginner one person installation , limited instructions and no manual. being so large have a helper. Be sure to understand the cable tension method and whatever you do , don't unscrew the tension button , little ball bearing will fall and good luck finding them. Once installed to your specs the light really makes a statement . We intended to put this over our kitchen table but way too large with 9 foot ceilings, going from tuscan old world lights we are in trying to give a little more modern look in our dining , living room , 14 foot ceiling over the dining table this light was the ticket. Might even put another over a sitting area.

A very unique and beautiful chandelier

It is indeed another example of very original and unique product from EGLO. The shipping was very prompt and packaging excellent. This chandelier has an over sized large bowl and lights the room with latest LED technology. The inner lining of this chandelier is has a reflective gold shimmer and outside has a very beautiful black finish. Since it is very large we have to find a room where it will look the best and most effective. We love this chandelier and would recommend it to everybody.

ONLY DESIGNED TO LAST 5 YEARS!!

bought this lamp. realized there was no way to replace the bulb if it blows out. was told by the company (Eglo) that there's a 5 year warranty and that after that, if the bulb blows, you are meant to THROW THE LAMP AWAY !! 1. HORRENDOUS FOR THE ENVIRONMENT! 2. THIS IS AN EXPENSIVE LAMP AND THE COMPANY SAID DIRECTLY TO ME THAT IT IS ONY MEANT TO LAST FOR 5 YEARS. That is immoral and insane. Instant garbage! Shocked that Home Depot supports selling this garbage.

Love this light fixture. It’s better looking than I expected and gives off perfect amount of light directed on the table where you need it.

Perfect Entrance Hallway Accent!

1StopLighting did a fantastic job of getting the Gaetano to us on time and at a more than competitive price. It now hangs from our 15’ entrance hall ceiling as the most perfect accent imaginable. Further, the dimmer switch we added takes this pendant to an entirely new level of lighting possibilities.

Dramatic and fabulous. Just the right touch to our entryway!

This pendant is huge and very pretty! The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because there was a small dent in the metal dome. Not big enough to go through a return/exchange. Otherwise it's perfect! Much larger than expected.

Beautiful pendant

This pendant came beautifully packaged. Everything was intact but, this is one big pendant. Too big for my use. So I’m ordering the smaller size. The bowl is a nice deep black and the interior gold finish is just stunning. I hate to send it back but too big for my kitchen.
