I am a contractor and have used this unit several times. The quality and fit have never been an issue. I always bed theses units in mortar mix which eliminates the crackling sound complaints. This one is paired with porcelain tile walls. VERY happy customer!

This being my first shower installation, I was concerned about the fit and durability of a shower pan vs a tile/mud pan. But I am very pleased with the results. The dimensions of the pan were spot-on with the specs, so the fit was perfect. And the pan feels very solid when walking in it.

Excellent retrofit shower pan. Make sure your drain line is located properly and pretty rigid. It does does take some finesse and moderate force to install the drain seal. But..nothing else needs to be bought to make this work.

Great Product

This shower pan fit my measurements exactly. i removed an old tub and this was the only one with the measurements i needed. fits well, has a nice grip surface, is made from a thick strong base material. so far so good, has been installed and just finishing up tile as we speak. Thanks to Efaucets.com for the fast shipping and customer service help.

I wish I would have seen product first

the product is excellent but for my bathroon I wish I would have seen it first as there are issue in the way this product is built with regards to me installing with tile to compliment the meeting the top edge which took alittle more to the installation process

Did a tub to shower conversion, and this shower pan fit exactly with the existing drain making install very easy.

Nice, but....

We installed this shower pan while renovating our downstairs bathroom, replacing a fiberglass tub/shower. Thinking I didn't want to pay a lot for it due to it's lack of use, I chose this pan. It was easy to install and looked good, but... I hated the look of the pebbling when it was first unpacked and still do. What I thought was dirt in the crevices after just a few uses turned out to be the top layer of the surface peeling away from the other layers.

Pebbled anti slip-floor is nice, solid quality. Crated to protect for shipping. Drain cover was matching color plastic and looked cheap so I bought I chrome drain cover. Be sure to use a mortar base as instructed under the shower receptor to make it firm and not hollow sounding.

Second purchase of this super shower base

We used the same shower base at a condo we have in another state. It has been in use since 2008 and it still looks as good as the day we installed it. We installed it in a rental unit we own in Arizona that is used five months of the year by snowbirds. Very good choice since it is so durable and has retained a brand new appearance to this day. Nice that it fit to the old bathtub area perfectly.

Easy to install with a modern look...

Easy to install

After the hard work of pulling out the old tub and wall, installing this was simple. The thing is I 6'2" and weigh 250. The cracking noises are scaring me. No signs of the main pan breaking I hope it's just the ribs on the bottom. If you buy this fill the bottom with great stuff foam
