I love it! Previously had a double sink which made washing large items (like canning kettle) very difficult. We had it put in a couple of weeks ago, and I’m really enjoying it — being deeper also good because water doesn’t splash out of the sink much. Have had stainless steel sinks before, and I like how dishes are less apt to break if you drop them accidentally.
Couldn't be happier - price, product and service
Shipping was fast. Customer service excellent. Prefer to buy direct from manufacturer and avoid big box stores. Better service, better price. Absolutely thrilled with my new sink! Installed it ourselves. Great quality. The drain strainer is great since we are on septic and don't have a garbage disposal. Highly recommend Houzer.

PROS: The sink is beautiful, and is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a sink that didn't have that annoying divider, separating it into two compartments. Additionally, install was a breeze. I've done few sink installs before, so no instructions were needed. But, even for a novice, install would be simple. CONS: The sink is uncoated. It's possible I missed it, but I dont believe its anywhere in the description. Consequently, it scratches VERY easily. Sadly, it will need to be replaced much sooner that a properly coated sink.

Solid sink with a clean design and excellent soundproofing. I looked at a lot of single basin stainless steel sinks before settling on this one. It arrived in perfect shape and the plumber said it was easy to install. I installed a single hole faucet and put two soap dispensers in the other two holes, one with dish soap and the other with hand soap. I plugged the fourth hole but might someday add a garbage disposal switch there. Some of the other sinks had sharp inside corners which would have made cleaning more difficult.
Very good kitchen improvement
This is a very nice sink. Large enough for big pots and pans, grill plates, even an oval crock pot dish. It is deeper than the previous sink, well insulated and good quality steel.

This is a terrific sink. Due to the material of our countertop, I had to get an overmount sink. It's tough finding one with any depth! This is about 9" deep, and while I'd love to have a 10", the quality and price for this one are great.
great sink for the price
This sink was more affordable than most others from various online retailers. Also, choosing a 4 hole vs. a 1 hole saved a good bit too. I'm happy to deal with using a cover to conceal the extra hole. It's definitely more shiny than the brushed stainless sink it's replacing, which I'm sure will show more scratches and dings over time.
Nice Sink
We love the new sink ,fits a bit tight & had to send the first one back because of missing spot welds 3.5 inches back from the rear left corner. The second one came totaly protected in foam wrap & in perfect condition, It wasent the packaging that created the proublem in the first one it was quality control. Over all its a vary nice heavy gauge sink and is supper quite witch was a concern going from a heavy doubel sink to this one. it is 1 inch thicker & we put two rubberized mats we got from Amazon in the bottom they cover the base & up the sides about 1.5 inches because of the cuts they have on there corners. I wouldent wast any money on Housers SS sink protecter or the fitted cutting board ,thies were not vary well thought out & the sink deserves better
Keeping the Wife Happy
Removed a double bowl kitchen sink and replaced with a single bowl. Decided to replace the faucet at the same time. Purchased MOENBanbury 2-Handle Kitchen Faucet in Spot Resist Stainless for the replacement. Installation went well with no issues. The sink replacement was HOUZERPremiere Gourmet Series Drop-in Stainless Steel 33 in. 4-Hole Single Bowl Kitchen Sink. Which was a hard decision as we wanted to make sure the replacement was 18 ga stainless. Reviews as read made this a difficult decision. As after my installation the negative reviews in my opinion were distracting. Very pleased with the entire project.
Good Sink Overall - Same Issues As Others Have Posted About
SIZE: You cannot beat this price (2015: $257.31) for this size sink. If you are going from a 24" sink cabinet to a larger cabinet, you will not believe how much bigger this sink is compared to your old sink! It is HUMONGOUS! The size really does make washing up easier. There is plenty of room in this sink for washing whatever you need to wash, including large cookie sheets and casseroles. You can rinse your dirty dishes and hide them in the sink for washing up later :)
Great Sink + Customer Service
So nice to have a large and deep ( 9 inch ) single bowl sink to work in. Replaced a 29 year old 22 gauge double bowl shallow ( 6 inch) Dayton contractor grade unit. This Houzer is 18 gauge, much more substantial, heavier, quieter. Fits the original "standard" 33x22 cutout perfectly. 4 hole design allowed us to custom fit the faucet off center increasing needed sink top space owing to a close backsplash.
Looks Nice, But Not the Best Quality
This sink looks great, but has some serious quality flaws. Four days after installation the sink developed small rust spots in areas where it was machined during manufacturing (inside the lip and around the outer edge). These areas of rust were easily treated and removed with a baking soda & vinegar paste, but in my opinion it is completely unacceptable for a stainless steel sink to show rust in such a short amount of time. The sink basin also shows scratches really easily. This is completely cosmetic, but still aggravating for a a brand new sink. In addition, the adhesive used to mount the sound reduction pads to the bottom and sides of the sink basin is not adequate. You will need to add a more robust adhesive to these pads or they will eventually peel off.

Would buy this sink over and over again! Perfect size and so much better than the dual sink I originally had. Love the big open area to work with. Great for large pots and pans and just putting all those dirty dishes into until you're ready to load the dishwasher. To keep from scratching the finish I also bought the Houzer BG-3600 Wirecraft Stainless Steel Sink liner. Perfect for this sink! My only issue with the sink is that I keep having to push up under the sink to keep the soundproofing affixed to the bottom of the outside underside of the sink...a minor inconvenience to have with this otherwise wonderful sink.
OMG! Unbelievable sink!
My husband and myself are remodeling our kitchen on a budget, and we purchased the 30" stainless steel Houzer drop in sink. It's absolutely amazing! We can't believe what a difference it makes in the existing countertop which we kept to save on the total remodel cost. It's like a shining light inside the black granite of the countertop. We read so many reviews, good and not so good. The not so good mentioned sound, scratching, marks left in sink from water drops, etc., etc. We decided to make the additional purchase for the stainless sink rack. Absolutely love that also! The negative comments are just that.....do people really think that water marks aren't able to be cleaned or that the scratches can't be eliminated by purchasing the rack? We are so happy with the quality, size and appearance of this after years of using a black granite double bowl sink. Did I mention that we love it???? Buy it and you'll be a satisfied consumer! not exactly what I expected.
Although I love the single bowl sink idea very much, I will never go back to a dual bowl. I wasn't really impressed with the quality of this sink. However it was a good value for our budget, I wasn't happy with the texture. there is a "grain: to the bottom of the sink, so you can only wipe in one direction, front to back. Maybe it is intentional or will wear off in time I expected a smooth finish.

So happy with my new sink. For 15 years I have been living with a gray porcelain 2-bowl sink installed by the previous owner of our house. It always looked dirty/stained, neither bowl was big enough for washing a large stock pot, and I always worried about chipping the sink surface or breaking a glass on it. We finally decided to replace it, and chose this single bowl stainless sink, and the Houzer BG-3600 Wirecraft Stainless Steel Sink Grid, 27-by-13-7/8-Inch to go with it. I plan to use a small plastic dishpan sitting on the grid for small items that don't go in the dishwasher, but put the dishpan away under the sink when I am done using it so the beauty of this sink can shine. The sink looks like a jewel in my kitchen counter! I will be able to clean even large items in my sink now, and I don't have water splashing everywhere on my counter because the sink is not large enough to contain it.
Love this sink!
This sink is wonderful. I replaced a two basin cast iron sink with this sink, and will never have a two basin sink again. The single basin in this sink is very large and seems much deeper than my last sink. With my double basin sink, every time I emptied my plastic dishwater basin (yes, I wash dishes by hand) the water would hit the divider and spill all over the counter, onto the cabinets below and the floor. This is so much easier, plus the single basin is large enough to fit a large roasting pan or grill rack. It was easy to install (for my handyman, that is), and looks great. Something about having the drain shifted towards the back of the sink rather than dead center is also rather appealing.
My new kitchen sink
I love my new sink! Prior to this sink, I had a 30/70 size sink, and I could not fit anything into it. Frying pans and oven pans had to be turned around to wash. This sink I can fit everything into it. I can put a dish drainer on one side and wash things on the other side. I can rinse dishes off right into the garbage disposal and put them to one side to put into the dishwasher. When I run the garbage disposal, there is no vibration and it is very quiet. My old sink used to vibrate . The new sink is very nice looking and I am extremely pleased with it. It is a very good buy as the competitors sink was double the price . The plumber had no problems installing the sink and he seemed to think it was a good product. I would highly recommend the Houzer premiere gourmet series drop-in kitchen sink. The new kitchen sink that I really love!
Definitely NOT happy
Spent $300 on this sink, thinking that it was superior quality. Not so. Spent another $500+ to have my plumber install it, along with a new garbage disposal and a 5th hole for the reverse osmosis water dispenser. I noticed tiny rust spots all the way around the top inside edge of the sink after the 2nd day, and by today (10 days after installation) there is a knife cut in the bottom of the sink that is already rusted. Had to have happened between yesterday and today. I don't understand why a $300 STAINLESS STEEL sink is so easily damaged and rust prone! I now have to decided (depending on how Hope Depot handles my dissatisfaction) whether it's worth it to replace or not - paying the plumber to do the job again. I will update my review once I hear back from Customer Service.
Beautiful. large and practical
We replaced out 33" split sink which provided very little room to wash larger objects such as pots, pans and cookie sheets. The Houzer 33"X22"X9" single bowl kitchen sink was perfect for our kitchen attaching an Insinkerator garbage disposal unit underneath.
