Seems to be good quality. Haven't actually used it yet. Waiting for tile install. One drawback is there are no instructions for the drain install, for us do it yourselfers. My tile guy didn't like the look of it and said I should get a standard drain so I will have to look at them and see if there are differences. Fit was perfect and went with this one because I needed to fit it into a specific space. Four stars because no instructions.

We are happy with the shower pan. There were no written instructions, just pictures and we weren’t sure if it was placed right. After messing with it we felt comfortable with it, but wanted some instructions for clarification.

It looks good but make sure to run the water before you put tile or anything else on your walls. Afteron the job was done I made sure everything was leveled. (It was) then I ran the water and the tray does not have an even flow. Water sits on one side of the tray.

Works for us

Was easy to install. The product is sturdy and luckily our floor was almost level so only required a couple of shims. Only wished the drain strainer was metal like it looked when I bought it. It was plastic so we'll likely replace it before too long.

low quality

warning this product arrived cracked and I was told by home depot that the issue was between me and the manufacturer!!!!!!! I ordered it from home depot , I paid home depot why is home depot not standing behind the products they sell????????? it is ok Lowes sells shower pans too!!!

Great shower base

I was surprised how easy this shower base was to install. I am no expert in home construction, but I was able to install the shower base quickly and securely. I used the mortar bed method and I think that it was a wise choice. I was a bit worried about the rubber gasket that seals to the drain pipe - but after installing it, I think it is just fine. I do wish that the drain grid wasn't made from plastic, but overall I am pretty satisfied with both the quality and ease of installation.

Awesome for the price

I did put this into a bed of mortar because I tend to overdue everything a bit, but this is still a sturdy shower base. This compares in feel to much more expensive units and has no give at all. I am a little concerned with the floor drain connection, with just a rubber gasket, but time will tell.

This shower floor is an excellent choice, especially for the price.

I purchased this single threshold shower floor by Veriteck. It is made of approximately 3/8 inch thick Veritek material that is very hard and stiff, which is good. The mold is excellent, and there are ribs on the backside for extra strength. The only negative is not much of one. If you have this draining directly into a drain under the floor or in the floor then the pan is firm and rigid on the floor due to the ribs I mentioned. I on the other hand needed to raise the pan up a bit due to drain and pipe issues I have since I need to drain out the side, not the bottom. I needed to make a platform under the pan so there was no flex in the floor, where if this was a much thicker shower floor I might have been able to just build a parameter under the shower floor. In sum, a very nice product, and a very nice price compared to other similar products.

Sturdy construction

Doing a master-bathroom renovation and ended up removing the old shower pan, since it had slightly yellowed and the previous shower door frame left a bit of a stain. I was a bit hesitant, having never replaced a shower pan, but it turned out to be pretty simple. This unit fit perfectly and appears to be very sturdy; the instructions are basic, but there's no need for complexity in this type of installation.

Great value

Great value for the price. Instructions say to install a thick layer of thinset to prevent the floor of the tray from flexing but be prepared to wait a long time for thinset that thick to harden for use. Easy drain install system and tile lip. Good instructions. Turned out fantastic.
