Great stovetop and value

Lobe this stovetop! Even has wifi. Price was veey reasonable compared to similar products.

Like the cooktop but Home Depot has the dimensions 100% INCORRECT. I had to modify counter and cabinetry to make it work. Check specs on manufacturer page.

Simple design

So far we are enjoying this 5 burner cooktop. We LOVE not having any knobs to clean around and the the simple design. This has been easy to wipe down and we look forward to cooking.

Just purchased last month. So far it is wonderful to cook on. I would have given it 5 stars but it needs soft scrub to clean the burners every time we use it even though we haven’t cooked anything very messy or boiled over any liquid. My old one cleaned easier. Otherwise it is easy to use, super nice to adjust the ring size to the pan size and looks beautiful in our kitchen.

Scan to cook

The oven is nice looking. But the scan to cook is worthless so far everything I scanned doesn't work. So unless u eat so guess high priced food. It doesn't work.

Pros and cons

I loved my previous owned GE Profile cooktop until a burner failed and a replacement part was no longer available. So I purchased another GE Profile cooktop. There are a couple of features that I do not like about this new one. First the buner does not shut off automatically in a short period of time when you have taken the pot off. The burner stays on until you turn it off. The burner on the previou one would have a red light after you turned it off but the light stayed on indicating that the burner was still hot until it completely cooled down. The new one the "hot" light is on after it is turned off but only stays a shorter period of time. So it is still somewhat hot with no indication that it is. The timer is not as loud as the previous cooktop. This new timer is so low that you can hardly hear it if there is talking or the tv is on in the room connected to the kitchen. Also it was a very expensive cost and time consuming for the necessity of having to change the electric wiring and breaker from a 30amp to a 50 amp circuit. Lastly I still find it hard to figure out a medium heat range with the touch control. I am still guessing at it when I cooking certain things. The power boil is an ok feature that is a plus.

No knobs to clean under!

I feel so proud of my new GE cooktop. It looks so beautiful in my kitchen. It actually makes me feel a little well off and heightens my spirits when I go to the kitchen in the morning and see it gleaming there.

Great product

Product is great. It replace my old refrigidaire.

Like the electronic controls, so far. Shows finger prints and appears fragile. It does work good.

Cooktop

We have had GE Profile appliances for 10 plus years, lost our cook top from probable power surge. Replaced GE Profile with GE Profile. We had zero issues with the first GE cook top, expect the same with the new one.

This product has serious flaws over heat while controlling the heat don’t function properly secondly the top is exceptionally hard to keep clean

Love the new finish

This was a direct replacement for an earlier-year model. This one is much better. The surface finish is much more smudge & fingerprint proof.
