Sleek, sexy, and modern!

I bought this about 3-4 weeks ago and am loving it so far. It's a beautiful addition to my kitchen. The stainless steel and gold handle look so good! Delivery was good and on time. They left it where I asked them to. Nothing arrived damage or missing. The hood was all protected nicely. Would buy again.

Amazing Ventless 48” Hood

We bought a 48 inch black ventless hood for our gas stove. Super easy to install. Very easy to change out the filter filters every six months. A great option if you’re floor choices are in the wrong direction Amazing look.

Poor Quality Control

The crown on my wood vent hood was too big to fit in the chimney piece. I asked for a new one which was sent, but that too was too big to for properly. What is going on with quality control? Very frustrating. Now my Contractor has to have a carpenter fix it costing more money.

Not Impressed

Pretty disappointed with your company and product. I did a ton of research and seen nothing but positive reviews about ZLine. So I was excited too purchase this range because not many companies make black stainless steel hood ranges. Upon opening up the box there were scratches all over the protective film. Upon and further inspection, it was pretty obvious that I received a return from another customer. You could tell that somebody tried to install it and then returned it. There were scratches all over the inside of the chimney, and then a huge dent on the back of the motor. What really irritated me the most was the bloody fingerprints on the transition piece. I could have sent it to my buddy, who's a police officer and probably got the identity of this person because it was so clear. This product obviously came from somebody who tried to install this previously. Word to the wise for your company, first you should do a better inspection on retuned products from customers. Second you should never send a new customer a second hand product with a bloody fingerprint on it. After this experience, this will be the last time.I'll be purchasing any of your products. I was looking into buying a fridge and range, but not now after this experience. For those who are going to purchase anything from ZLine I would highly recommend inspecting the product once received.

The range hood came packaged in a heavy duty car board box. The hood and accessories were packed firmly with card board dividers. The stainless steel hood and chimney still had the protective paper on them. The instructions are not for the typical DIY person. If your not accustom to professionally installing equipment (kitchen or other) I recommend calling a professional installer. The unit shouldn't take more than 4 hours, including cutting the sheetrock, installing solid wood blocking, replacing the sheetrock etc.. I exhausted my unit through the exterior wall just above the hood and under the double 2x4 top plate framing. You may have to remove the unit several times for other work. Painting, tile work etc. Just remember to install the oversized washers under the two mounting screws. You cant initially install the unit with them. Also my wiring was already in the basic location, just had to relocate outlet behind the chimney cover. The most difficult part of the installation was reinstalling the connector boot back onto the flexible duct tube after cutting to length. I ran it under hot water with a little dish washing detergent and screwed right on . Great unit, would recommend .
