Stunning but not easily dimmable
Visually, we are very happy with this purchase. This is a beautiful, high quality fixture that makes a statement in our foyer. Unfortunately, if you are expecting this to be dimmable then take note that it is not dimmable unless you install special 0-10V wiring PRIOR to installing the fixture. In addition to to standard wiring, 0-10V requires that 2 additional wires be run to the fixture. This is not clearly stated on the product page. No matter which dimmer switch you use, the switch will only turn the light on or off unless you install this additional 0-10V wiring.
One of the coolest lights EVER
My electric contractor recently installed this light in the master bedroom in combination with a LeGrand Adorne dimmer. When I turn the light on, it takes a few seconds for the light to fully light up and when I turn it off it takes a few seconds for the light to gradually shut down. So cool! The light looks very elegant next to a Hunter Original ceiling fan. Highly recommended!
