Difference

I'm having difficulty understanding the difference between this light and one that is the same size that costs half the price. It's limited to one light output temperature as well, adding confusion. Is there something about this light that is exceptional?

Great lighting

My new under the cabinet light is so awesome! I love how it is led and it will not be using much power. To me that is exciting! You can barely see my light as my husband tucked it up under a set of my kitchen cabinets. It is a fantastic night light as well, it is just enough light to be able to see down the stairs and into the kitchen safely. My husband only took a few minutes to install it.

Looooove this light!

Wow what a difference an under cabinet light makes! We typically only use it when we're not in the room, for like a night light, but we love it! This light puts out a lot of light and lights the entire counter space below it (as you can see in the pics) Installation was a breeze because we opted for a cord kit you can buy for 10 bucks so we didn't have to drill into our brand new cabinets. The kit just plugs right into the light and the cord plugs right into the outlet. We also installed the light with command strips onto our cabinets, easy breezy! We still have to hide the cord with the hook provided with the fixture and probably some tape but after that it should look seemless!

Great additional to any kitchen

The light is plenty bright and has a nice warm bright glow to it - warms up the kitchen while providing enough shadow-free light to illuminate the counter area. The installation to the cabinet is simple, however running the power to it is quiet confusing. If you would like to power it from an outlet - you would need to purchase additional cords, which will run at least $15. Depending on where the outlet is positioned in your kitchen, you would reverse the light under the cabinet so that the power source is facing the right direction. I had to take the light down and turn in 180 degrees to make it work - a bit of an inconvenience. Overall, I'm happy with the light itself - looks and feels well made and designed specifically for the application - hides completely under the cabinet. While installation is intuitive, the instructions are not helpful at all, and difficult to find additional accessories likes cord or similar lights on Kichler's website. YouTube help would also be greatly appreciated. I do wish there was a built-in dimmer if powered thought an outlet to change brightness. Now that I have one installed, definitely looking to get a few more to connect under other cabinets.

Quality under cabinet LED

The light fixture is extremely well built and designed very well making installation a breeze. All the necessary hardware is included for the basic hard wire installation. The fixture has a feature which will allow the consumer the ability to hook up multiple lights using an optional cable. The fixture emits ample cool white light and turns on instantly without hesitation or flicker. This is a great choice for under cabinet lighting if the color of the light is what you are looking for.

Nice Product

The Kicher 3000K lighting system is very easy to use and produces a bright light. I found mounting the unit under my cabinets was easy and the fixture was not at all visible once installed. You d have to be shorter than the cabinets to see the fixture. You can hard-wire the unit to your electric, but I had to order a separate power cord to plug it into my wall. That chord only comes in one size (60 inches) and it was a little too long for my needs and hard to conceal. I would definitely order it again for my under-cabinet needs. The light switch on the unit is easily accessible and it appears easy to expand your system by adding more units, a small cord connects any additional units you d like to add. It produces a lot of light, which I would say is on the sharper side. It is not a soft light.

Best Undercabinet light available

This fixture was incredibly easy to install. It literally was able to be installed in less than 10 minutes. The light is LED, and gives off the perfect amount of light. We use it in our kitchen along a stretch of cabinetry where our microwave sits. We leave the fixture on all the time and the light that it emits is perfect! We love it! Still cannot believe how simple it was to install this fixture, previously we used a big box retailer fluorescent fixture, and it was awkward and took two people, the Kichler fixture is far superior and I was able to get it installed in literally about ten minutes. Absolutely love the quality and feel of the items Kichler makes!

Bright Light and Medium to Install

This light is awesome! It is very bright. Installation was very smooth. Intensity is as strong as fluorescent light. It seems to cover wide area for light.
