Not what I expected

Not what I expected from Kichler. The light cover is plastic, the description said it was glass. My older light has glass and looks like better quality.

The lighting is good, but the description said the light cover was glass, but it's plastic. The lights look cheap for the price. I expected better from Kichler. My older light has a glass cover and looks like better quality.

Love these lights!

We installed these in our kitchen when we built in 2008. They are still working fabulously!

Same great build quality after 23 years

I bought two of these units to replace incandescent versions I bought in 2001. The build quality is still excellent. One thing I miss though is having a high-low power switch. The LEDs can be too bright in some circumstances.

One is outstanding but the 12 inch under counter light was dead on arrival. I will be sending it back for a replacement.

The 22 inch light went in lighted up immediately but the 12 inch one was dead and never lit up. The electrician said to send it back and ask for a replacement

The equipment is excellent and meets all of our expectations. The installation, however, cost me $300 in electrician fees because you cannot just plug it in to an electrical outlet-must be hardwired.

This item by Kichler offered two features that were hard to find on other similar products ( fixture color and position of knockouts on the unit). I needed knockouts on each lighting unit either in the back of the unit or on the top. This had knockouts ( the place where the electrical wiring comes in) on the back of each fixture. In this way the wires would be hidden from view. Most fixtures these days have them on the side ( to daisy chain several together for a long run). This fixture also allows for daisy chaining ( which I did I not need). I also needed a bronze/brown fixture, not white. The LED is brighter than the old xenon fixtures I had previously.

One of 3 undercabinet lights needed replacing and this one is its replacement. It is slightly different and lighting slightly brighter. Works well.

This is a great quality light that can be expanded

Nice replacement for older Kichler lighting

Nice replacement for 16 year old Kichler under-cabinet lighting. Basically the same footprint as what was there, and the wiring holes align nicely. I'm getting a little hum from them that I didn't expect, even with an LED dimmer. Will probably get a different switch to see if that helps. Otherwise very nice quality.

Too bright

The light was a replacement for a previous Kichler light so the install was simple and used the same wiring. The reason for my rating is that it’s too bright and doesn’t match the older ones that are still working. I had to reorder the 2700k and return the 3000k and it’s still much brighter than I wanted.
