No information instructions in the box, the dimensions are incorrect, had to spend another $15 or more hardware. The bottom part for hook up is crooked, but because I hired someone to put it, I didn’t want to waste it and pay them for the day.

If it didn't leak lots of water, it would be a good product.

It does not seal leaving space for water to leak not only where it attaches to the house but also where the panels fit into the braces.

Terrible/NO Customer Service and too lightweight for winds

I bought these last month for full price. I have been trying to return them for a week, and Yescom refuses to send a return label. UPS wants $300 for shipping and the seller can ship at much better rates. Now I see the price has drastically dropped, so they obviously don't want to return the much larger sum I paid. Don't buy from them! The product is too lightweight to sustain storm winds.

I like the awning. Assembly

I like the awning. Assembly is easy but attachment requires additional efforts. The expansion bolts for attachments assume studs to attach awning to exist at needed locations. If not and wall is accessible inside, studs may be added as needed. But if inside wall is not accessible, a 10 " or wider board is needed outside to attach awning with expansion bolts!

Great look! Delivered quickly, hard

Great look! Delivered quickly, hard to assemble, clear plastic panels won't take a heavy snowstorm especially without metal rod supports, and had to paint half panels green, because the sun makes a magnifier glass out of it and it burns your eyes out! And it's unfortunate that no one makes a fold-down or up metal awning affordable.

Economical choice for an awning

This is an economical choice for an awning. It is lightweight, but seems to be of reasonable quality. It is a little difficult assembling the awning, because the corrugated plastic parts are straight, but need to be bent just right to fit into the slot. Just requires some patience. It is mounted on the back side of the house where there should not be much wind or snow.

Excellent upgrade. It rains here a lot in the winter.

Looks terrific. Exceeded my expectations. Good instructions. Was able to modify the width of the lenses so awning fits perfectly

Great canopy just wish it came slightly wider

We really enjoy our new canopy over our door. It provides some protection but really wish it was wider. Most typical exterior doors are 2’-10” or 3’0” wide plus the door trim. To cover the head flashing and following the directions, a 40” wide canopy like this one does not provide the proper coverage on each side of the door. Wish this was at least 44 inches wide instead of 40 inches.

We have three of these and they look fantastic and last about 2 years in the hot hot Maryland USA sun. The only issue is that the brown plastic screen begins to just pepper with burned sun holes, the plastic dries out and cracks. I have to replace the plastic every 2-3 years because of this. It would be great to be able to order JUST the brown screen material as this will seriously affect product longevity for anyone who lives in a hot climate.

Great product! Install directions are comedy!

I ordered to replace a similar, heavier metal awning with plexiglass panels I installed in 2017. I live alone, in a high rain/humidity area, and am fairly handy, so the allure of the <15 pound total weight plastic brackets was great ... I can install alone, easy to clean, and the panels should be easier to replace as they succumb to our intense UV. My only beef is the install directions, which state the center mark for bracket holes are 37.99 inches apart.

Product arrived damaged. That why shipping was a one star. But it arrived in good time. It wasn't installed because of being damaged, but product was as described.Supports and anchors where well built. Polycarbonate sheet was damaged but looked like it would be strong enough once installed. I think it was worth the price. Support was excellent. For replacing, or returning your money. Would buy from this company again in future.

A little disappointed

The picture shows 2 awnings that can be put together as one (so I thought and was my intent). I now have half an awning I cannot use because an additional bracket was not included. The screws that should be used for attachment are cement screws. My use is for wood. Wish both types of screws were included in packaging. There is no contact information with the instructions. Pass these hiccups and it is serving it's purpose.

Installed first 40'x80" canopy over a year ago to cover the BBQ area in the back porch, it held up well under rain, light hail storm, wind guts and snow of the Midwest, it looks awesomely great, very happy. Just purchased two additional pieces to install over two windows at a house in California, I'm counting it will stand well under the sun also. Installation was fairly easy but you do need a helper. Highly recommend this product.

Satisfied So far

Aside from the front and rear trim pieces this unit is made entirely of plastic. I was impressed however with the rigidity of the arms. They seem fairly strong.

Skeptics - it works

For the skeptics, this awning works. It isn't going to blow you away with either style or construction. However, it is functional and seemingly capable of handling adverse weather. Fortunately for me, this is installed in Northeast Ohio and we've had several rain storms over the past few weeks since installing this awning. It passed a hail storm with high winds over the weekend with flying colors. It not only withstood the storm, it definitely protected me from the elements upon exiting and entering the home. This is the first of many storms to come and only time will tell, but at this price point, I could replace it every year and still beat the cost of buying a traditional aluminum sunblocking styleless awning. Add some style of your own...get one. I am giving 4-stars because I just don't know if it will last, but it is definitely well enough constructed and if it lasts, easily a 5-star product.

Wow! This is a winner!!!

Wow!!! What an excellent product. . . We got three of these awnings and installed it side by side under a pergola to protect the French Door leading into a remodeled Quonset Hut, which we use to store farm equipment.. . . Just yesterday we had a tremendous storm and with the awnings the door was well protected , no water seepage into the interior or the water hitting the wood molding around the door and deteriorating the trim-work. . . It was very easy to assemble and install, and we are looking forward to a lasting solution to our problem with the wind blowing the rain against the door. . . As a bonus, the product is aesthetically is very pleasing. . . We are going to order 4 more of these to install above all our exterior doors. . . Thank you, . . Valeria C.

Awning for shed door and window

Product arrived very quickly and in good condition. The awning requires 2 very patient people to assemble and install. The instructions are not clear and are very confusing! Thankfully we have a mechanical and construction background or it would have been much more difficult to install. Product arrived with masonry anchors for mounting it to the wall, we were installing it on a wood wall, so off to the hardware store for lags and washers! The screws provided for awning assembly are poor quality and strip easily and a couple had factory defects and could not be used, another trip to hardware store. . . We have the 80" awning and it is tricky to put together and get straight on the wall because it is so flimsy and flexible. It is light weight which is a plus for ease of mounting and it is attractive, it has not gone through any wind or rain yet, so we don't know how it will perform. Not sure I can recommend, I love the look, but very hard to install. We get wind and rain tomorrow that will be the final test.

Looks great!

I put up 2 sets of 2 on log siding. Directions are a little confusing and prep and planning are important. I had to cut one panel down to a smaller width, but good measurements and a hack saw for the front & back metal brackets worked well. I used a utility knife to cut the panel down to size. You need to get one panel with 2 supports installed first. To get the second panel up you need to slightly pinch the end of the back metal frame to get it easily into the installed support. Once I did that the rest went in easily. I used 5/8 lag screws and washers to attach to the log siding instead of the bolts (for brick?) that came with the panels. The attached pic looks a bit odd because the angle of the shot and the angle of the roof. The trimmed panel is on the left.
