Seems structurally sound but I haven’t used it long. Washers for small nuts and bolts might help prevent the bolts pulling through the plastic material. Putting it together is time consuming, but worth it. I’m ordering another one for my daughter.
Difficult to assemble: screws and nuts very small and very tight areas to work within due to how container is constructed. Otherwise think the container will work well for my purposes. Have only had it a short time.
Well, that was 3 hours of my life I'll never get back. First, the directions were not easy to follow. Second, it is a two person job. Third, the hundreds of screws and nuts are tiny. But it's together. How well it works remains to be seen.
tons of nuts and bolts! Seems to be pretty sturdy
WOW! soooooo tedious putting it together....tons of nuts and bolts! Seems to be pretty sturdy, I like the fact that it rotates....
Who knew composting in the backyaard could be so easy? We have not gone through the first cycle yet, probabkly midway. I don't stick my nose into the tumbler. We add a coffee container of stuff into it every few days, turn it 8-10 times, and so on.
Very good bin, cheap and effective. I like that it divides into two compartments and has plenty of drain holes. Just dump the compost each evening, water it, and give it a spin. Nice and easy.
Hard to Assemble But Easy to Use
I think there about 5000 teeny tiny screws needed to put this together. Once it was together (not using all the screws) it’s easy to use. I like the tumbler that is easy to turn. The sliding door is a bit small. My vision of using this to dispose of leaves is not happening but I have plenty of kitchen and garden trimmings to use
Bigger and sturdier than I thought
I had been using a regular plastic bin with holes made in it, but didnt work good, hard to mix and finally cracked. I'm not an expert in composting, but its now required in my state, so have been trying. I was wary of buying something. and couldnt spend a lot. So far, this seems perfect. bigger and heavier than I thought. I could never have put it together, had my son do it, and wasnt easy. Lots of tiny screws, and directions printed small, and hard to follow ( which part is which, in pictures). but, now its together and I will see how it works, over time.

This is a little tricky to assemble, lots of little bolts and nuts.I discovered that you don’t need a wrench on the nut, it grips the plastic firmly once snug. Be sure to assemble from one side of the doors, the whole way around. I went both ways from the door assembly and had a very hard time reaching through the tumbler to install the last panel!! This tumbles fairly easily with a heavy load. The divider is a little loose, but that doesn’t seem to be a problem while it’s in use. It feels like it will last quite a while, only time will tell. Haven’t gotten my first batch of compost out yet.
Mr
Love this. Perfect for our garden. I'm not too mechanical but I was able to put this together pretty easily. Have it loaded. It is doing it's thing
Relatively easy to assemble. Nice enough size. We are using it between 2 families of 3 people and it has adequate room for our peelings, grounds, etc. I have it next to some raised bed garden boxes and whenever I'm out I just give it a couple of spins like I'm about to hit the jackpot.
Perfect size for small garden
This little guy is well made. Like that it has 2 chambers. Plastic drum is a Beast! Expecting this to last for years. Great that the fire ants won’t find my compost and ruin it.
Easy, big, quite good for the need
I mean yeah it’s a big black plastic tub but I’m putting rotten veggies and such in it. It was easy to put together, took about an hour or so, lots of repetitive screwing …. Very sturdy. I waited a long time to get one and I bet these are just as good as the ones you find on Amazon for a larger cost. I’m very happy with it and can’t wait to get my first compost from it.
Composting easy
This compost tumbler is perfect for my needs in my garden. I would suggest to have two people to build it, instead of one. It will make building it easier. This tumbler is sturdy and tough enough to hold. I would definitely recommend this to any person that does compost.
This product could be Easily Improved.
My wife and I just finished assembling the Composter. It took both of us , one to hold and align while the other installed the fasteners. The DIVIDER was a BUGGER. Never did fit snugly into the track ( leaving a gap at each corner). Also, the hardware (nuts %26 bolts) many were without threads. Otherwise, we are still looking forward to seeing if it was worth the money. A little better Engineering on the DIVIDER and overall QUALITY CONTROL would be an Improvement.
Their Screws Have No Threads
This thing was supposed to be put together with phillips head screws by a phillips head screwdriver that came w it. The screws had no threads and my husband ,who knows what he's doing, said the screwdriver "really wasn't much of a screwdriver." Thankfully he was able to find the right screws from his own stock. I fully understand why he was angry n I am O so glad I just left him to it!
Ok for value
Took about an hour to assemble with one person, but directions were easy enough to follow. Unit is hard to rotate, but maybe I put too much in at one time; we'll have to see how it composts. Would be better to have a dump bottom instead of small doors from which to take out the compost.
Compost bin nice product good quality
Love the product good quality received it quickly. Instructions were written a bit tiny my old eyes had trouble with it. But pictures helped. It took about an hour to put together I got most done alone but last part needed extra hands to hold it and finish putting legs onto the barrel.
It’s okay.
I like the adequate size. Liquid drips right through and it can be gross. I don’t like that. Lots of air for circulation but the downside is flies and gnats get inside. It’s okay, have only had for a few months s timed will tell. Using a 5/16th socket to hold nuts while screwing will make your job much easier! Easy to put together, just a bit time consuming.
A proper composter
Love it !!!! So excited I finally have a proper composter!!! This was easy to put together, although tedious. There are over 56 screws. But don’t let that dissuade you because the effort is worth the pay off. I’m so excited. I’ve been building up scraps for over a month in my refrigerator.
