WAY TOO LOUD, EVEN ON LOW

This was purchased for a new home construction, and a custom hood was built for this insert. At the lowest setting, the fans measure over 70db at the cooktop, On high, it's unbearable. Needless to say you can't hear your self think, much less cook with this running. Due to the delays in our house, we were not able to install this until after the return window had closed. I would NOT buy this model unless you are prepared to deal with the noise.

Louder than expect and terrible light changing

We have had this insert for over 4 years. I've had to change the lights 2 times. It's a very annoying process and include a wire to the motherboard that has one screw that you can't get off due to placement. Pieces into the motherboard don't come out as easy as the video. Ours actually broke. The noise at full fan is very loud when compared to other hoods of its size and cfu. You almost need to do the remote fan for noise control.

Absolutely beautiful!!!

I love love love this range hood. Its great quality, solid and very well made. I will be using it with my all white cabinets, white countertops and stainless appliances. I chose this because its eye catching,and different enough that I know I wont see it in anyone elses kitchen.

Gorgeous addition to our kitchen

The hood fits perfectly into the theme of our 100 year old farm house. The option to add the stainless steel moulding was the perfect touch. We only have 7' ceilings so had to purchase the short ceiling kit in addition to the hood. We went with the recirculating option and while it does a good job we mY end up doing a direct vent as we can still set off the smoke detector! It's not a quiet fan by any means but it is great quality for a very reasonable price.

Stay Away from ZLINE

Lights in this went out after about 18-24 months. Contacted ZLINE, and all they would do is send my all new lights and a new module. No offer of service to fix their junk product. They just ship you the parts and expect you to to it yourself. Glad I bought much better national brands for all other appliances, as they actually come out and service your product and are easy to get in touch with.

I got my insert a year ago and the lights stopped working. I called to order parts, and didn’t even remember that I had a warranty. The agent knew what I needed as soon as I described the problem and sent a little box with parts. I broke a wire trying to disconnect it and wasn’t too upset because it was so easy and quick to get the parts the first time. When I grabbed the box to get a number to call I found a replacement wire for the one I broke. She knew what I needed before I knew I needed it. So glad I did business with this company!!!! Love the hood too.

I purchased this range hood insert to go above my 48" Range. I chose this one since it was slightly smaller than the range and would allow me to build a custom cover around it and still fit within the section between cabinets. I like that it has 4 lights and speed options (though they are on the back of the unit so it's a bit of a reach but not bad). The description said it's quiet but it's louder than I thought it would be even on the low setting. I consider that's in part due to its size. It's installed and working but we have yet to use this as we are still in the process of renovating / moving. So far, we are pleased with this purchase.

Lovely and so well made!

After hunting high and low for a beautiful range hood for my new kitchen I came across this one and was really pleased to see the price. It was just what I was looking for AND it included the fan system. I received it quickly after ordering and couldnt wait to open the box and take a look. I was thrilled to see it is just as lovely as it looks online. I dont have it up yet as my kitchen hasnt been started yet. I will take a picture and post here as soon as the kitchen is complete. Do not hesitate to purchase this. Its awesome.

Nice compliment to out chef’s cooktop. It when in fairly easy. Keep in mind it needs an 8 inch hole for the proper installation vent to go up to your roof. A few of the bolts were mis-alingned with the holes they were suppose to be screw into. The bolts ended up falling out of the electric conductor. Poor quality assurance that they let this pass through inspection. But three bolts held onto the item just find. Over all it was very quiet for the amount of cfm it carries. And maintenance was a breeze dishwasher safe stainless steel vent are always a plus.

Awesome and Highly Recommended!

We could not be happier with our new hood insert. Strong enough to suck the fillings from your teeth, yet quiet enough not to be obtrusive. It's decorative front is made of "REAL" stainless steel (non-magnetic) and not that cheap stuff used by most foreign manufacturers now days to wrap most of our modern appliances!
