Dark brown light bar, not bronze

Not sure if we received a dud or if all bars look the same, but it was flat brown-no bronze to it. It was fine though, as we had bronze spray paint on hand, and once sprayed it was perfect. However, calling this light bar bronze is misleading.

Not much to it...but I knew this. The finish looks good, but not overly easy to install as you have to drill your own hole in the metal mount plate unless your supply wire is exactly in the center of where you want to mount this. . . A long slit across the entire bracket would fix this issue.

Fit the bill

I was having a difficult time locating an oil rubbed bronze lighting fixture in a very long shape with lots of lumen output, but this fixture is perfect.

Very nice vanity light

Super, super bright with all the bulbs. Too many times vanity light are little better than dim night lights but this one is great. My kid's bathroom is a double vanity and this will light it up great with no shadows.

Everything worked. Backer plate was solid, brushed front plate easily scratches and the use of buld holder to keep it in place doesn't seem the most robust system out there. Fine for the price.

Very basic lighting with a bronze touch and deocorative shaped edge. For the price, it was exactly what we’re looking for and easy to assemble.

Worked for intended purposes.

This fixture provides a great deal of light and was easy to install. Upon arrival one end was slightly bent in shipping, but I was able to return it to its proper shape and install without difficulty. You really have to look to see the bent spot, so I'm happy with it. The bend is the only reason for four stars.

The light was easy to install,good quality for the price point. It fits the decor of the bathroom,and works great,only needed to use 40 watt lamps because of 8 lights ,and it lights the mirror well.

I was very disappointed with the shipping of this product. It was packed in news paper like something my kids would do and it came damaged.

The product was not too difficult to install as I have installed many like this before. If it was my first time it would have been difficult as the directions do not tell you about making sure the product is level. My biggest complaint was about the shipping. Very low quality for a company like HomeDepot. I had to return the one I purchased online to the store and order a replacement online. That meant that I had to fork out the money for two of them while I waited for HomeDepot to credit me for a return.

Not what I expected

The fixture itself is well made and it was delivered as stated. I ordered the Oil Rubbed Bronze and the picture shows that the reddish of the bronze is highlighted on the trim pattern that goes around the unit. However, when I received it, all I could see was the almost black color. No highlighted bronze which my faucets have and I was trying to bring out. I kept it because I don't want to mess with it anymore, however it is not what is presented in the picture. So if those highlights are what you are looking for, this isn't it. The reviews were so good I was really not expecting what I received.
