Easy to install and a great upgrade to our old can lights from the 1980's

[Rewarded Review] Works great with nice options

I dropped a star because the power supplies had broken off of the back of all of the lights I received. They were still connected, they still work, and it doesn't look like a safety issue just disappointing. I really like these because you can set them to be very bright and white or adjust them down to warmer brightness. They have four rings that can be snapped in to provide different looks. In our case we used them without any rings. They slide right into a 6" can enclosure. They are nearly instant on and fade off very quickly.

[Rewarded Review] Easy Upgrade

If you have can lights, this is an easy swap to convert the bulbs to LED recessed and give your room a quick refresh to the modern style. The adapter plugs into the light socket, just like a regular bulb, then you snap in the orange end to the light and use the metal tabs to hold it in the can light. I think you can also use the adapter and cut the bulb part off to hard wire these in if you have enough room to fit the light housing.

[Rewarded Review] New Unique, Recessed LED Light Fixtures With 4 Colors of Interchangeable Trim

Just when I thought I had seen everything in improvements for can light replacement fixtures, Commercial Electric put these innovative fixtures on the market. I have been aggressively improving my numerous older can lights, saw these great replacements and immediately replaced 8 old fixtures which was incredibly easy and they look fantastic. The included trim comes in 4 nice colors and effortlessly snap in and out. For my kitchen, I chose the black trim which has a bronze stripe along the outside edge. It only took about 5 minutes per light to change each light. You simply chose and snap in the desired trim color into the new fixture, remove the existing baffle and bulb, use a handy provided wire connecter that screws into the old bulb socket, push in the new fixture and tada, finished! The fixture is held very firmly in place by 3 stainless tabs which are twice as strong as the springs used with other products. This fixture has many other benefits such as a selector switch that lets you chose from 5 light colors ranging from daylight to soft white, ample light output at 950 lumen, an eco friendly 14.5 watts, 50,000 hours of bulb life and dimming to 10% without buzzing. This will fit either 5 or 6 inch can lights and are rated to be used in direct contact with insulation. If you have older style can lights, they can leak attic air into your house but these fixtures will stop the air leaks saving a lot more energy. What more could you ask for from a ceiling light?

Selected these LED fixtures to replace serveral old incandescent bucket lights. These LED lights are well made and easy to install with the instructions and all the parts you need included. The lights can be mounted all white or you can add one of the various colors of trim rings to match your decor. A tool is included with each light to make it easy to pop the trim rings out. Easiest retrofit I have ever done, this is a great DIY project to upgrade your lighting. Each light produces 950 lumens of bright light while utilizing only 15W of electricity. The selectable color temperature switch allows you to change the light temperature to the desired brightness for your room. Each light can be individually adjusted to the color temperature you need for specific locations. Since these lights are LED they do not produce the heat that the old light bulbs produced. These lights are suitable for dry or wet locations and come with a full 5Y warranty.
