These braided stainless steel we're perfect for the job. The rental house where I am living has an old Hotpoint washing machine in which I was unable to get cold water. After cleaning the intake and installing the new hoses the washer works perfect. I no longer worry about the hoses bursting which is a great relief.

These hoses were purchased to connect an outdoor kitchen sink to my homemade outdoor solar water heater/shower setup. They look like they will withstand the sun and weather better than the previous rubber hoses, which were brittle and cracking after ten years. These have a decent flow, where some other hoses are restrictive. The braided stainless covering is nice.

The inside diameter of the hoses were too small, looked like 1/4" diameter. This will cause your washer to fill slowly. I returned it and got Fluid Master brand, Braided Stainless Steel 5' hoses with 1/2" inside diameter, part # 9WM60P2HE.

Both hoses worked great doing a maintenance flush on our tankless water heater.

Arrived as described. No flaws. Used it for descaling tankless water heater.

Replace the original rubber hoses that weaken with age, can fail and result in costly water damage.

Arrived Defective Will not rinse. Wash, spin, dry only

Ive been waiting for a product such as this for a long time. Unfortunately, i’ve scheduled a pick up, return and refund because it arrived as defective unit. Its the perfect size, and looks beautiful. The problem with my unit is, it would wash fine but refused to draw water during the rinse cycle and i would receive an error message E3. I wasn’t able to reprogram it during the error message or open the door. It locks up. I unplugged the unit and after a while i plugged it back in and i was able to set it on spin only, then restarted on a different wash cycle hoping it would wash then rinse. I could not get it to rinse. Overall only wash, drying and spin worked. I’ll look into buying a different model.

These hoses worked great for my purpose. I purchased to flush my tankless hot water heater. Combined with a submersible pump (also purchased through HD), a bucket, and one and a half gallons of vinegar, they did the trick.

Perfect fit, rugged construction but stiff hose

Purchased to replace old cracked rubber hoses. Fit threaded connections without issue. They have large soft compressible washers for a no-leak connections. They do not have strainers installed so I used my old ones. The braided hose is quite stiff but worked fine. I hung them in the sunlight to help relax the coil set from being rolled up in the packaging. You could also place in hot water to help them relax. Recommended.
