You don't care how long a customer remains on hold before you answer the phone.

You shipped the wrong size lamp globe for a ceiling fan. I have a copy of what I ordered & you confirmed, but you pulled the wrong size to ship. I've tried 5 times this week to reach you, but you put me on hold stating I would have a 20 minute hold. However, after and hour & a half, you failed to answer. This has happened 5 times. Obviously, your service department doesn't care. Just horrible service department.

No Speed

Purchased Sep 2022 for $267.00 and professionally installed inside a 3 season screen room, 1 1/2 years later... speed will not engage anymore, this is lousy quality and very costly!

I thought this came ready for remote but apparently I have to purchase an additional part to make that happen So be sure to check carefully if you know you want a remote control for this fan. Might have been my error but complicated the install a bit.

New outdoor fan replacement

We just repainted the exterior and needed a new fan. Shopped around and online and for the cost we got a great value. My only comment would be to offer the blades in a different finish the high gloss is not as refined as a wood grain style blades.

Haven't had a chance to really test it yet but looks good in a 12 x 15 screened porch. I'd wavered between the 42-inch version and this one and am glad I took the larger one. It fits the room better.

Sturdy, well packaged. Went up easily. All parts fit correctly. Looks and works great.

This fan is pretty good but I am not sure how they come up with the fans CFMS. Because what they state and what volume it moves does not add up

A Good Choice

Very nice for our 10X15 porch. Traditional style & quiet. The only reason for 4 stars is that the lowest speed is still faster than our other Minka fans. We like all the fans on low most of the time but that’s certainly not the case for everyone.

I first bought a Hunter but it only had a 2” down rod and — believe it or not had no 6” option. I returned got the Minka-Aire that included the 6” that many (if not most) people need. East to install (I took photos of the old fan connections). No worries. Works great. I am needing to use the included balance kit however to address some wobbling.

Outdoor “wet” fan

Very well constructed. It was easy to assemble and woks perfect. It is a true outdoor fan. Gets direct rain. The fan is coded for outdoor only. Not u set porch but outdoors. Be careful when buying fans that say indoor/outdoor. The electrician was impressed with wires and seals.

We needed 5 fans originally- all Minka Aire fans ; the one outdoor fan I purchased needed to be returned and that went fine. Needed one with a light. All 4 indoor fans for bedrooms & living room are so wonderful; they are EXCELLENT!!! ; we couldn’t be happier with choosing Minka Aire products (I think they are the Kohler of Fans!.) We are waiting for our carpenter to install this last fan; the indoor/outdoor Minka fan. I am quite confident that this one will be just as great!

Outdoor fan

This is our 2nd fan! The first lasted 14 years. Hope we have the same luck with this one. Cools off our seating area on our deck.

A Nice, simple fan w lousy accompanying Components

The fan is wonderful, but the accompanying wall switch is extremely cheap and clunky, to say nothing of the fact that the controls are upside down: instead of going from off to 1 to 2 to 3, it goes in the opposite direction which is a bit of a pain. It sounds insignificant, but it’s really not. They should also offer a remote so that you can adjust the fan while in bed in the middle of the night if it gets too cold or too hot…

Great outdoor fan

We have had two of these fans installed on our outdoor lanai for over a year now and we love them. Excellent air movement and having two makes our lanai so much more usable. Quiet and no wobble! Get the remote control - its worth the few extra dollars.

As a builder there exterior fans work very well on our beach condo projects. These fans hold up very well with the elements of the ocean salt. I would recommend these fans.

Delivery of fan and all accessories was prompt, no damage was noted.

What we needed

We had an electrician install so I don't know how easy it would be for a DIY-er. The fan looks great and works well. We decided the ceiling height wouldn't allow for a fan and a light kit hanging down. I'm very happy with our decision to just install a ceiling fan with no light kit.
