The learning curve on the tub is the most difficult part. Included instructions are in the worst broken English EVER. My advise… fill the tub above the flat ledge near the waterfall, then experiment with the buttons. Otherwise you will have a geyser in your bathroom…

Loved it!

The bathtub has rounded corners, ensuring that you won't get harmed! It also comes with all of the amenities you'll need to relax in it, including an inflatable pillow and armrests. It is well worth the money

everyone has to say something about it when they see it!

This is the best-looking bathtub I've ever imagined. It gives an extraordinary feeling to the bathroom. But, of course, everyone has to say something about it when they see it!

Love alll the features

This EAGO Bathtub has a number of purposes. It includes massage jets, a curved-corner seating area, and a fast drainage system, among other things. Since the day it was delivered, I've enjoyed it.

I recommend with reservations. The water lines need to hook up, by our licensed plummer, required us to contact the company. They are not standard for the USA. The plumber now needs alternate faucets with the new water lines. I would have expected a professional manual included, but instead it was a photo copy. We are just getting it booked up so no idea yet how it works.

EAGO AM197 Review

This unit looks fantastic and generates a great deal of interest in a home as the focal point for any master bath or en suite. However, if you are in the market for a fast filling tub spa with easy to use controls, this may not be the unit for you. The thermostatic valve and diverter valve although appearing to be ½ inch hide the fact the valve cartridges and interior orifices are actually ¼ inch. In other words, in order to fill the 105 gallon spa it takes about 48 minutes with a line pressure of 75 psi. See photos. In order to reduce fill time I changed out the existing valves to a Jaclo ¾ inch system with included separate hot/cold roman tub valves (J-6914) and a ¾ inch diverter valve (J-1209). I also needed to use 2 brass elbow fittings and ¾ male threaded fittings to get proper position for attaching the hoses to the diverter valve. This is because there is not great deal of space under the deck. Gluing a piece of 3/8 inch wood to the underside of the deck is also recommended for extra support. Also, this modification requires that an additional 4th hole be drilled into the deck for the hand held shower. This unit has no "tub filler". If fills through the water jets located at the bottom of the spa. This required cutting off the ¼ inch inlet nipple to expose the filler pipe and inserting a threaded ¾ threaded male nipple so that ¾ inch steel braided hot water heater hoses can be used to connect all replacement valves to the jet/filler inlet. Total cost to me for these modifications was $785.00 which included the trim kits, hoses and fittings but well worth it as now the spa fills in less than 18 minutes. This is important as the faster the spa fills the longer the water remains at the desired temperature. This unit DOES NOT have an inline heater and THERE IS NO INLINE HEATER available as an option. This unit also includes a water level sensor that prevents the pump motor from operating until such time as the water level in the spa covers the top most jets. Please make sure these top jets are below the water line. If not, when you engage the pump water will SPRAY EVERYWHERE! You will be required to use the drain trap system that comes with the unit. A standard 2 inch trap will not work with is unit as it parts are metric. Now for the controls. It will take practice to master the controls as they are somewhat touchy. Example: there are 4 buttons that control the jets and pressure therefrom. But as long as the pump is on it is not difficult to adjust the output as per the instruction manual. The drawbacks with these controls is that the panel locks up after 10 minutes and depressing the power button for up to 10 seconds is required to unlock it. My main issue with the panel is that it seems that the buttons don't work or are slow to respond if there is water on the surface or your finger is wet. The radio in this spa is rudimentary. There are no tone controls and the sound quality, speaking as a musician of 40 years is disappointing. This is especially disappointing as one is paying a premium price for this unit. There are also two different leveling systems for this spa. It has adjustable rubber coned feet for the frame and three corner struts that are somewhat adjustable for the deck. Do your best to level the deck first before leveling the feet. I've also had to cut out 14 inch square openings on each side of the spa for access to electrical and plumbing. This was necessary by code as I am building a surround for the spa that will be topped with stone. This will not be necessary if you have no plans to enclose this unit with cabinets or decking.
