This light is well made-heavy cast aluminum using American engineering, American technology, American made machinery, and cheap Chinese labor. China now owns all aspects of this product and it’s only a matter of time before they tell the original company We don’t need you now, get out. Maxim, rethink your arrangement with china while you still have options. Explain to your customers we are building and selling American made and buyers will understand the higher price preserves American jobs. Many of us are looking for American made products and cannot always find them.

Great light over the bbq, exactly what we wanted.
Perfect for low profile outdoor side lights.
Used two outside of French doors (mounted at 5’) with a dimmer switch; they worked beautifully! Great light, simple sturdy design and disappear on the shingled side.
