Great Can Light

Great lights, installed in personal home, as well as custom homes. Easier for the customer to change out if something were to ever go wrong. Love the capability of changing the color preference.

Don’t buy for 6” cans!

Despite the label these would not work in old 6”can fixtures. The springs are so wimpy that the light just slides down part way out of the ceiling. I have used similar before in 5” cans without a problem.The springs are a joke. The old fixture had spring flat blades that are 10 times as strong as these. They need to spend a buck more and make the springs more beefy.

Very Disappointed in Driver Dimming Noise Level

This particular light has a lot going for it and would have met my need perfectly but the reason for the low rating is horrible noise due to dimming. I have experimented with different dimmer types ($100 ELV+ dimmers included) and it doesn't matter what dimmer type is being used. These fixtures output a very loud 60 cycle hum that is honestly unbearable for me in a residential environment. I purchased almost 50 of these units for a new home and this disappoints me. I have 10' ceilings so the higher lumen output is needed but these particular units are too noisy, even at the higher mounting heights. I have a few other styles of LED cans and retrofit LEDs bulbs and none come anywhere close to the noise level of these fixtures on a dimmer. If the manufacturer has any input on this issue, I would like to hear from them. Considering almost 90+ percent of the reviews on this item are "Paid Promotion" then it's no surprise that I'm the first to complain.

Very intense light

Diameter of actual light only about 3 inches, which makes for a very intense light considering high lumens. Would only recommend on high ceilings and special situations. Nice looking though.

Excellent lights. These may cost a little more than other similar lights, but they are worth it. Color temperature selectable means one light can work in many different situations/locations. Well made and spring mounts are secure and hold the fixture in place. The baffled construction really does reduce glare.

I used these to replace old can lights adjacent to...

I used these to replace old can lights adjacent to a newly remodelled kitchen. The kitchen had Juno lights and I wanted to match the look and color. At first I thought that they didn't fit before realizing that they had to be adjusted to work in 6" cans. The instructions were not wonderful but I figured it out. The adjustable light color works very well and they look great once installed. They are also quite reasonably priced in my estimation.

Looks great

This is an awesome light. We installed this in my office so that I could have extra lighting and it looks amazing. It was very easy to install we didn't have any problems at all. It really helps to brighten the room. I'm very happy with this light it really helps out a lot. I think I will be buying some more of these to install in there also. I am very pleased with this product and I would definitely recommend it.

Great update to a dated downlight

I just installed this retrofit LED light in my home in an old dated downlight. I had previously replaced the original incandescent reflector bulb with an LED one, but the LED bulbs are not attractive to look into. This retrofit replaces the old trim, which was old and gives the fixture a completely new and attractive appearance.

Easy upgrade!

Installing this light is one of the easiest upgrades I’ve ever made in my home. It’s as easy as changing the lightbulb in your cab lights. 5 minutes, tops, for an energy efficient light that will last for years. My favorite feature is the ability to adjust the light color - it has 5 settings. My hesitation with LEDs is they can be harsh, bright, and feel cold but this has two wonderful warm yellow settings that give the room a cozy feel. I definitely recommend if you want to update your can lights easily!
