Too shallow for BR30 bulb
This trim is solid and well made, but its depth is so shallow that a standard BR30 interior bulb projects out about half an inch - kind of defeating the point of a baffle trim. I found a brand of bulb (Phillips DuraMax) that is 1/4 in shorter than most, but still too long to reveal much of the baffle. The trim depth is not adjustable, so be sure you want your bulb projecting out of the trim slightly before you buy (I like mine recessed by about an inch for baffle trim). It may be better for a PAR bulb which is slightly shallower with a flat face, but I don't like the harsher light of a PAR.
