Very difficult to set the times and colors of the bulbs and even harder to pair them properly

Easy and fun

I replaced a standard can light with this to give fun control of lighting in the shower. The only qualm is that it's not sitting flush but I think that's due to the can/cutout in the ceiling not the product itself. It's easy to setup with the phone app as well.

My lights keep disconnecting…

I’ve had to reset these lights almost every month! I’m tired of climbing up on my ladder, get insulation all over myself, in my eyes, and on my belongings; twist and retwist the connection, hope it starts blinking so I can pair it, and then add it back to my rooms—only for the lights to go out the next month. Mind you, I have 12 of these installed and have had to do this to every single one when they go out. On top of that, my living room has vaulted ceilings…………………

[Rewarded Review] Eassy to install, easy to use, great kit

The globe wifi smart 6inch ultra slim kit is perfect for the diyer. Easy to follow instructions, an easy app to control and then add to alexa. They even include a template to make cutting the correct hole size a breeze. You have the choice of a full range of white beside a range of colors to suit any mood. The globe app makes adding lights a breeze and after that its a simple to add voice control. I use alexa for easy voice control for these great lights

[Rewarded Review] 6" Smart Recessed Light kit

This Globe electric wifi smart recessed lighting kit is one of the easier set ups I have installed. After removing the previous 6" can, to wire, push out the appropriate hole in the junction box and push fit the wires into the connectors! Now push back the 2 springs and position the light and let go of the springs -done. Choose the color of light you desire blue-yellow and use the wifi to turn on/program. All these Wifi set ups have their own Apps by requirement, but this means a lot of phone apps these days!

We really like these lights. They are easy to install and connect to the WiFi and use via the Globe app. The lights can be set to a vast array of light settings including colors, hues and brightness settings. The lights can be set to the same group within the app which makes it nice to just leave the power on at the wall switch and control everything through your smart-home app. The brightest setting is 5000K which is great for brightening up our room (we installed them in the Kitchen). The lights can be set to certain “moods” depending on what you’re looking for, including “Party” mood, which the kids love! We replaced our existing can lights that ad halogens with these and we absolutely love them. We plan to replace all our can lights with these and be able to control them all from the app. Great product!

[Rewarded Review] Nice lights, easy install and great app

I got these lights to install in a second home. What I liked about these is that they didn’t require a Ken to install. You can install them directly into sheet rock. They are very slim and have spring-loaded retainers that hold them in nice and tight. Installation is very easy you just cut a hole with the template provided, connect up the wires with the quick connect portion connectors that come with it, put the box up in the sheet rock. You just have to fold the clips upright and push the light in the hole. The cable is plenty long do you have 24”.

[Rewarded Review] Simple and Smart

Globe Electric Wi-Fi Smart 6 in. Ultra Slim LED Recessed Lighting Kit 2-Pack, Multicolor Changing RGB, Tunable White, Wet Rated was a great choice for my current remodeling project. Although this kit was not directly made to replace can lights with a little extra work they worked fine. I utilized a cut off tool to gut the inside of the can light then it was child's play after that. I can dim and change the light color for mood and turn the light on with my phone. The Wi Fi feature is a plus you don’t have to add a smart switch. I have a few Globe Electric fixtures in the home and I highly recommend this kit.

[Rewarded Review] Very attractive lights

The slim line smart lights replaced two conventional lights in my kitchen and I am very pleased with the transformation. The lights were professionally installed by my electrician who removed the old blue electric boxes, made the aperture in ceiling slightly bigger as per the provided template, and easily connected the lights to the existing wires and snapped them into the ceiling with the provided spring brackets. The default light color is a bright white light very soothing to the eyes. However it was frustrating trying to pair the lights to my WiFi through my Apple devices - iPhone and iPad. The Globe app says it needs to be connected to a 2.4 GHz network. I have both both 5 and 2.4 GHz and they are meshed and don’t show up separately. I have connected other devices that run on 2.4 GHz and those devices select the 2.4 automatically. The globe lights app kept asking me to select the 2.4 GHz network. I had to keep trying for almost two hours and enter the name of my wireless router and password again and again until finally they paired. The trouble was worth it because now I can not only switch the lights on and off with the app, I can also change the color of the lights through the app. The next step will be to program the lights to switch on and off at set times.

[Rewarded Review] Easy install

I found the Globe Electric recessed light very easy to Install. The kit came with a template to help make a precise hole in the surface I installed it. The light is very low profile design which allows it to be placed in tight locations. The light is wet rated and the wireless receiver and the electrical box are apart from the light to give more flexibility for mounting. The light can be controlled thru the Globe app which allows tuning the color I like. It can be set to very bright or multiple colors. Very high quality. The setup was very quick as the app is well designed.

[Rewarded Review] Nice addition to the back patio

A couple of years ago I updated the back patio lights with sealed, dimmable LEDs, and those were a major improvement to the old bug infested recessed incandescent lights. But these Globe smart color change bulbs were an irresistible upgrade – not only can I change the color temperature from warm white to bright daylight, I can also change the actual color from blue to red and everything in between. The app also allows you to set up scenes and schedules that will run automatically.

[Rewarded Review] Very versatile "canless" recessed light

I have installed and personally used a number brands and models of these "canless" LED recessed lights and this one, I must say, has a lot of features. The first thing I like about this design is the super slim design. This allows installation without regard to rafters in the ceiling. It is slightly thinner than a sheet of 1/2 inch drywall so no matter where the hole ends up, you can work around the rafter and click, it's in !! I down graded to 4 stars because you MUST have a cell phone app to set the temperature color. Unlike some others, the temp color selection is a slider from very yellow to blue white. The app also allows you to set scenes, and sequences of any color you want. The apps was a little fussy to get started, it kept asking for my router password but once I get one programmed, adding others was a piece of cake.
