Poor quality (side panels separated)+ poor install

I bought an earlier version of Suncast 7x7’ shed a few years ago. Installation was handled through Canadian Tire. Against my good judgement they used regular wood for the floor base (asked for pressure treated). Now part of the floor collapsed from the rot. Also one of the corners of the shed the front and side panels separated from the top all the way down to the bottoms. Poor quality by Suncast. Very disappointing!

(Rewarded Review) Nice Size Shed

This is a nice size shed for yards with no garage storage. We placed it on a treated wood base/platform. Setup took about 4 hours with four people not including the time it took to build the base. The instructions are very clear with pictures and well labeled parts. We did have some trouble setting up the roof and kind of did our own thing to get it to go on properly so we didn’t follow the instructions for that part of the set up. The walls are thinner than the last prefab shed we purchased so I’m curious to see how well it will hold up in Saskatchewan weather. I’m not a fan of the clear windows on the doors since people can see in the shed and see what’s stored in there so I’ll be frosting them out for privacy and security. The top latch on the second door is poorly designed and does not stay in place so it doesn’t feel as secure as it should and I’m going to have to come up with a fix for that as well. Overall the shed has its positives but the safety issues are a concern for me.

I am happy with this purchase. Be prepared to spend some time putting this together. I think I could have built one out of wood quicker, but I don’t think the cost would be comparable. The shed looks good and seems very sturdy and durable. I am happy that it won’t require any future maintenance. I built a plywood platform as the base/floor. This will be perfect for my needs.

Set up for this shed was and and is perfect for at our seasonal campsite. The fact that it was made with pad lockable doors is a large bonus. I am unsure if I really like the skylights as this gives people the option to see what is inside if they boost up to see through them. Some sort of shelving or hooks would be a bonus but I suppose this way you can add whatever you need for your needs. I hope this shed stands up to the cold weather but that will still need to be determined as we are currently at summer temperatures. The appearance of this shed is very nice. Overall, very happy with it.

Door handle

Doors handle broke during proper installation due to poor plastic material. Suncast claim that it was due to to improper installation and wont warranty the handles …. Ive been in the trades using hand tools for over 15 years and never saw any thing break this easy. Shed is pretty good besides that but don expect any help from customer service from suncast

This is the second Suncast shed I've purchased and you know what you're getting when you buy one. It's durable and not overly complicated to put together. I wish it came with some hangers or shelves but it's easy to make it work for your needs with a few additions.

Just set it up. Worked great. Instructions were good. Assembly went well. There was a bit of wind so we needed to be organized. Definitely needed two people. Everything went together well though and the shed is nice and strong now

This shed is very easy to setup, especially if the ground is level. It is super bright inside with the door windows, skylights, and white walls. The one thing I would like better on it is that the floor should be thicker, it feels a bit soft in places.

Nice look. The design fits the ascetic of our home. Easy to use to assemble. This kit is easy to assemble for those with moderate experience and proper tools. We assembled it in 2 days with the assistance of a neighbor with building experience. This includes building the wooden base.

(Rewarded Review) Backyard storage shed

There is plenty of space in this shed to store gardening tools, bicycles, etc. I appreciate the head room and the high doors so it’s easy to enter and move around in. Compared to a wood shed it’s fairly quick and easy to build (takes less tools, less time and a novice can build it). I strongly suggest putting it on a foundation such as concrete for added strength but you could probably get away with just level flat ground. One thing about resin sheds including this one is that you need to be careful putting things against the walls particularly heavy items as the walls could start to bow.
