Lumber was in good shape, but don't understand why I didn't get my military discount?
Warped and Short
Most of the boards are warped and product is only 7” wide (or less) not 8”, so I ended up not having enough boards for my project
5/6 boards were warped, bent, cracked making them not useable
Did not look like what the picture shown for texture and color. The description says smooth, but definitely was not. I'm pretty sure I could have ran my hand over it and got a splinter.
I love this product, easy to install. One thing to consider, it says it is 6 inches in height when it is really 4 1/2 inches. Consider that when measuring!
Nice wood, easy to work with and looks great!
Poor consistency bought 28 bundles to do two rooms returned 9 because quality was so poor,lost the job on the other room. Also shipped as a loose pallet instead of pack 6 so I had 168 boards instead of 28 packs , trying to find someone to drive a lift to load my truck was another chore, also carrying them upstairs 2 flights made it more difficult. Pack 6 should come packed 6 not 168 . Very disappointing
Quality of wood boxed for us was poor .
Very disappointed in the quality of my item. Approx. half of the material was not useable. Returned entire order. Very typical of the quality of material commonly associated with Home Depot.
Used in entryway. Nice country look. Love the result.

Cupped
Liked the look of the smoother side, but they were all so cupped they wouldn't lay flat on the wall, and they are so thick they don't flex at all. had to return

Outstanding product. Easy to install and looks great!
It was perfect for the project I was working on and it was easy to do.
There were vertical saw marks in a lot of the boards, so that made for not a great look for the stain. I thought maybe we got a bad QC batch, but upon ordering more they were all like that. Wish the saw marks were not there.
Everything was as advertised.
