Easy to use, no-assembly, large capacity composter

I just received my composter so these are my initial impressions. I like the extra-large capacity and overall construction and that fact that there is no assembly required. It's 99% heavy-duty UV-resistant plastic with little to wear out. There are a couple things that I would change though. The drum turns on rollers that are held in place by 4 inch steel bolts. These bolts should be stainless steel but are not. I already replaced mine. The openings to add or remove materials are relatively small due to there placement on the curved circumference of the drum. If the openings were placed on the flat ends of the drum instead they could have been made much larger. On similar models the base acts as a reservoir that collects and dispenses the liquid runoff as compost tea. It would be nice if this model also had that ability. Overall, I am pleased with this composter and look forward to using it.

We really like this composter. It is large, but still easy to turn. Has two compartment which we really like too. Comes fully assembled which is a plus.

[Rewarded Review] Easy setup

The Tumbler is huge with duel chambers so that one compost batch at a time cane be made. With just 2 pieces ( Top chamber and roller bottom ) the setup is easy.

Bad description

I bought this based on the product dimensions which were very inaccurate. It is HUGE! It is not 30" L x 22" W x 25" H as listed. It is more like 35' L x 28" W x 31" H I wish I could send it back. Very disappointed!

First of all you would think for the high price ( to) they would at least use stainless steel bolts and include washers! Also one hole is drilled crooked, but it still works so who cares! The pictures show a threaded plug on the bottom end of the base, but the one I received has a push in plug in the center of the base. One divider rivet was not properly secured, so I will have to find some other way to secure it so it does not pop out and the two chambers mix. They were in such a hurry to cut the round divider it is not round; it is hacked hastily. If you look at the one I received, they were in such a hurry they did not even drill all the vent holes. WOW NO quality control! As I said made in the USA means NOTHING unless you want to pay a high price for something you have to spend an hour to correct all the flaws! The ONLY good thing about this deal is the sale price at Sam’s. Maybe that is why mine needed so much work, it is the economy DIY model!

Love having 2 chambers. Very easy to mix by rolling the barrel.

Seems bear resistant!

We bought this bc our other compost bin was destroyed by a bear. This looks so much sturdier and more bear proof. Looks good. Little unsure how emptying a side will go once compost is complete.

My Husband is thrilled with this!! Less expensive than otjher models we had before, and this works perfectly.
