Easy assbly, seems solid, leaks a little in rain

Went together fine, just 68 yrs old me doing it. Takes a while. :) Seems solid, however it seems to leak from several seams when raining. Not a deal killer because it's ok to have a little water for the plants. But somewhat dissapointed, as my other 10x10' doesn't leak a bit. I would, however, fully reccomend this seller, item, and Walmart for the fast shipping.

Not the size advertised

The outside measurements of the greenhouse are NOT what was advertised. After following the given directions for assembly, the outside measurements are 9.5 feet by 19.4 feet. And only 6.9 feet tall on the outside. Inside measurements are even smaller. please coreect your listing because this is false advertisement. also the "metal" frame is very flimsy.

Not good in Texas

I recommend against getting this if you live in Texas.

Sturdier than it initially seems!

My absolute favorite part about this tunnel is the single-piece cover. No messing around with tape or tie-downs! The cover is thick and seems durable with the mesh incorporated into the plastic-- it would be very hard to rip. It wraps tightly and securely around the frame. We buried the additional length of skirt under a good amount of clayish soil, and our structure seems fairly solid. We get a lot of strong wind in my area, and have had zero problems with it in the few months it's been up. If you are not able to use a tractor or such to bury the skirt as I have, I would recommend sand bags as an alternative.

Everything is as advertised!

It assembled well with 2 people in about 3 hours. It's been through 3 or 4 thunderstorms and no problems. We did place sandbags instead of soil on the flaps (a total of 22 for all sides). We also attached adhesive backed Velcro above the windows to make it easier to hold the windows up instead of tying them. The last thing we did is we replaced the thin tie-down cords with quarter-inch cotton clothesline. The provided cords disintegrated within a couple of months. We also added a shadecloth and a fan placed in the window and another at the back of the greenhouse blowing towards the open door. It's necessary to use these on sunny days. We keep the temp between 80 and 90 degrees F. Everything is growing well. We liked it well enough to buy another to put up at the end of the season. Another tip: study how the frame goes together before you assemble it because the holes are not the same all the way around. There is left/right and front/back.

Frame too weak to handle any wind

The anchors provided are totally insufficient of course, but even with reinforcements to keep the hoop in place, the frame is inappropriately weak relative the size of the plastic, and winds have destroyed mine even in a suburban, somewhat protected neighborhood. Total junk. Twisted metal heap. May attempt to reuse plastic with wooden frame retrofit.

Good for my small garden

So far, so good. Since it's way too hot in Phoenix in the summer to use the plastic cover, I opted for a 10x20' grommeted mesh cover for that season. In the winter, I'll use the white plastic that's provided with the kit. I'll need to keep an eye on high winds when using the mesh so that the bars don't collapse - they appear sturdy enough for a 10mph wind, but nothing more when winds go higher.

I got this greenhouse just after Christmas, but held off on setting it up until late March. It seemed like it would be strong enough for the job. The way the frame is set up, there is a crossbar right above the arch to the roofline that allows the outer cover to sag in with the weight of the water and collect there, even with all the bungees to hold the cover tight. After a rain storm, I had to go out to the greenhouse and lift the plastic to get the rain to drain off. Then we got an unexpected snowstorm in the middle of the night. The temp in the greenhouse was maintained at 66 but couldn't melt the snow fast enough. It collapsed and the frame is unsalvageable.

1 month is all this greenhouse lasted until the 1st windy day, now it's unfixable. The tie downs are a joke & snapped immediately sending my greenhouse on it's side into the fence in which it's now impaled on. Because it's so heavy 1 person can't possibly move it off it's side to prevent further damage. All you can do is try to remove as much of the cover as possible as fast as possible so it doesn't work like a parachute dragging it & causing more metal bars to bend & break, much easier said than done especially at my age. Out $200 for the greenhouse thanks to crappy tie-downs. Absolutely DO NOT recommend

Poor quality

Received this product and put it up right away as we were excited. The metal frame is weak and will bend easily so be careful and don't over tighten or allow bending while installing. Unfortunately, we had snow that evening that the weather man could not even predict and it collapsed overnight. It did say not to let snow build over 5cm. We checked the weather and it was just supposed to rain. Unfortunate really. Only owned for 24 hrs.

Hollow poles that are weak and do not stand a chance!

I am unhappy with this greenhouse. The frame was so cheaply flimsy that it collapsed with the first snow storm. The poles should be solid NOT hollow! If i had known ahead of time that they were hollow and weak i would never have purchased this product. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and was fully disappointed.

Low Quality

Have had the greenhouse for less than a month and already regret purchasing it. The frame is much thinner & easily bent than expected even for the price point. The cover also doesn’t seem like it will hold up for long. One zipper on the door was broken right away. The other zipper messed up a few days later. We had to create a new way to keep the door closed. Not a great situation but better than throwing the whole thing in the garbage. We purchased this greenhouse as it was all we could afford this spring. In hindsight, we would have saved for a nicer version. Very sad that a product is made this cheaply to be forced to go in the landfill so soon.

NOT WORTH BUYING

I bought this for my husband for Christmas, we only had it up for 3 months and all the roll up windows and door ties came off the first time we tried to tie them and that was 3 days ago. (like it was rotten) all of the little sticky tape stuff that you put on the poles to protect the plastic have came off from being moist. hello its a green house, its supposed to be moist. We had a windy day on Sunday and it took the whole plastic cover off because all the rope ties lasted. I could see if it was years but this was only 3 months. I spent a lot of money thinking it would be the best gift and it didn't last at all. There was a rip beside the zipper when we set it up so I had to tape it. This was the perfect size but was totally a big waste of money.

Love it so much we bought another one!

I was so happy with the value for $$ of this greenhouse that I ordered a second one! Easy to assemble if you have any kind of mechanical ability and a second pair of hands... The second one goes way faster than the first; had it up in 2 hours or less! The only caveat is that the poles for the arched sections tend to have the ends out of round. Easy fix with pliers and needle nose pliers... just plan on sprucing up each end before you try to slid the adjoining section into it. This thing has lots of room and holds up great in the wind. My wife is over the moon with it!

Outsunny Greenhouse review

Excellent value for the money! Especially for those of us who don't want to build and frame their own greenhouse using our current (inflationary costing) lumber, which is currently 30-60% higher than what it was in 2020. That said, you should also keep in mind while purchasing, this is made with small metal tubing which is not as strong as 2 × 4" wood. It's covering is also not as strong as the 4 x 8 sheets of fiberglass panels which would go on a regular hand built greenhouse. Solution? Ensure that your frame is anchored well. (You can even build a wood base around the greenhouse if you would like) You should also ensure everything is secure and tight. Then and let me suggest only then, if you think its needed, you can use 1 × 1 × 8' wood poles to cheaply add additional support to help brace for those unpredictable winds but otherwise, it is a great value priced greenhouse which will be useful and beneficial to most home food growers, like myself. Last note: Wind. Some people have stated issues they have when their greenhouse experiences 40-60 mph wind. Seriously? Can anyone predict mother nature? I cant. Last night I lost half the shingles off my roof due to wind.. Wind and nature is an issue not just for greenhouses but living. All we can do is do our best to prepare for these unpredictable things : BUT despite your best preparations, sometimes things are beyond our control and we must deal with it the best we can. Enjoy your greenhouse and best of luck!

A complete bust

We purchased this greenhouse tent hoping it would last one winter until we could build an actual greenhouse in the spring. We're now hoping it will last another two weeks until we can get a new Flowerhouse greenhouse tent. We set this greenhouse up 18 days ago and have had the opportunity to see how it performs under sunny, windy and rainy conditions. Overall, I'd say this was a big waste of money for our needs. If you live in a cold, arid region that doesn't get rain or wind gusts over 5 mph, this might work for you. 1. The seams leak. Badly. Which promises a cold, wet environment in winter. 2. There are no tie-downs. The only way to prevent the tent from blowing away in even a slight wind is to weigh down the sides by placing heavy weights on the aprons. We used cut limestone blocks that weighed 20-40 pounds each, but that wasn't sufficient to keep the tent from moving in an 18 mph wind. The aprons are very narrow; the apron on the back is so narrow it can't be weighted down, so if the wind is coming from that direction, the tent lifts up. One week after erecting the tent, we had a windy day (18 mph) and because the plastic acts like a sail, the wind actually bent one of the lower metal bars. 3. Heat rises. There are no vents for hot air to escape, so even at an outdoor temperature of 70F, the interior is an oven. This might be a plus for a cold environment with no rain and no wind. 4. The Velcro closures over the windows never line up again after you open the windows, so securing the windows is nearly impossible. On the plus side, it was easy to construct.

Greenhouse

Well I have waited to write my review of this greenhouse. Initially soon as I got it and set it up Mother Nature gave it a run for its money with high winds. Next came the heavy rains accompanied by the hail. Luckily I have secured the greenhouse by tucking the canvas to the inside under the frame and added cinder blocks with bungee cords to keep it from blowing away.

Not as "heavy duty" as they sa

This is the second one we got from thos company. The first was gifted to us, and it lasted 2 days, until the the wind rusted to 25 mph, and I found the whole thing in my neighbors horse pen. This one has stayed put( because we anchored every side and corner with rebar on the ground). But both side have bowed in from the wind (again, 25 mph gusts) and one side, the "- HEAVY-DUTY STEEL FRAME: The plant nursery is constructed of solid steel with a galvanized finish, which resists chipping and peeling. Also, the hot house is equipped with 4 slant bracing tubes, a front crossbar, and middle reinforced tubes for enhanced stability." Broke and we had to in weld and wire them together. See pics included.

The instructions for this greenhouse were backwards, extremely confusing and vague. It said it would take 2 adults 2 hours with the hand tools, but it took more like 8 with power tools. The poles are quite skinny and easily bend. The instructions suggest dirt on the tarp but we used big rocks instead. The stakes meant for the ground dont go deep and pull out easily - we used curved rebar instead. The tabs the stakes are supposed to hook into rip off super easily. Its If youre looking for a temporary greenhouse, not in a windy location, it works.

This greenhouse is everything I expected! I love it. My husband made very light work of putting it together. I did do alot of review reading on the greenhouses available on wayfair and based on that I chose this one. Not only did reading through the reviews help me decide which one to get but they also helped me figured out how I needed to angle it in my yard based on the way the winds blow through. I found in most reviews wind is the biggest threat to it and luckily I have not had one problem. I did install in October but we have had gail force winds off and on since. I put it over top of my sons sandbox so he can play through the winter while I play with my plants. The whole family loves it!
