It will fade out by its first anniversary

It will complete fade out. Ours was shut and looked like a zebra when we opened. Don't waste your money! Just buy a cheap one. They last the summer and you won't feel cheated!

Piece of Chinese Junk!!!!

I purchased this expensive umbrella which initially appears to be of quality materials. In the past, my umbrella was very inexpensive and it lasted for about 7 years. This was in use for 2 months when the rib broke upon normal opening and closing at the joint area. I contacted the company with over 7 photos and documentations of the purchase. THEY DO NOT BACK THEIR PRODUCT! Wanted to charge me more than I paid for the umbrella to replace the rib portion of the umbrella!!! Don't be fooled by the name "California Umbrella" their products are inferior Chinese Junk!

Great Umbrella

We bought a number of these umbrellas for our community pool and they are great! They open and close easily, also the darker pole color w/ "natural" fabric color gives the umbrella a high class look. The umbrella's "natural" fabric color is a bit more tan/neutral than white. ..also one umbrella could not tilt (which is a dial above the open/close crank) and hayneedle's customer service was excellent handing the return. Highly recommend the umbrella. ..I've sen the umbrellas blow in the wind and the blow top helps relieve the pressure. . also on the cardboard box was a suggestion to keep the box for winter storage. Great idea!
