Lamp post light

The glass type globe is not completely sealed as i had imaged. Bugs still get inside the bottom of the cover, as the glass cover does not rest tight in the aluminum frame. If one is hoping for a tightly sealed light fixture, shop elsewhere. I do like the look of the overall fixture, I take it apart monthly to clean the glass, bulb, and fixture from insect debris.

Overall happy with the product!

I just bought 6 of these lights to replace some old ones. There were easy to install which was a good thing since the instructions were in French. They fit my existing posts just fine. I do wonder if I can purchase the clear glass globe directly from the vendor if it were to break. The lights are completely sealed, but they are a little smaller than I thought they would be. Overall, I am satisfied with them.

Cheaply made and overpriced.

After receiving the Suffolk Post Light, I was disappointed with several different things about it. The top of the light is made with thin aluminum and it looks like molded plastic. It has a very rough texture that might make it difficult to keep clean. The glass is clear with tiny speckles allowing the light bulb to be seen and it doesn't appear like the picture shows. The light socket was crooked causing the light bulb to be off centered and there was a gap around the base that might cause water leakage. This light is cheaply made and overpriced so I returned it.
