Microwave wall mounting brackets.
Bought the mounting brackets to get rid of a Microwave oven taking up space on work surface. Took great care in mounting and securing to the wall as per the instructions. (8mm masonry drill required). Two problems emerged. One is that there is no vertical adjustment on the brackets. If you do not get the mounting holes 100% accurate the the final shelf will be sloping. The second is that many Microwave ovens have not got a flat underside, so it is not possible to locate the brackets (as suggested) on a level place under the oven. To get a stable oven, I then went for the feet on the underside of the oven. Much to my surprise the feet are not all in a rectangular pattern ! I checked six other microwaves feet, and found all to be the same. Sadly as supplied the arms of the brackets are not wide enough to cover this variation in the feet positions. At best I ended up with three feet on the arms, and one unsupported. The only way that I could give support to all four microwave feet was to make a thin plywood shelf that would fit on top of the bracket arms and support all four feet. One of those designs where the designer does not look to have tried his design out in practise.
These brackets work well. They came with velcro strips to keep the microwave in place, but we couldn't use them because our microwave doesn't have a flat bottom. Also, unless a miracle happens, wall studs are NEVER exactly where you need them to be, so it wasn't possible to center the brackets in the opening. Our solution was to place a board on the brackets, secured with screws, and attach four inch wide strips of silicone to the top of the board (with included 3M double-sided adhesive) to keep the microwave from moving.
Just what I needed
After a handyman disappeared- I bought a hammer drill and installed the brackets myself. Easier than I had thought. Working perfectly to hold my microwave. 😊
Gets the job done.. sorta
While it does secure to the wall via studs fine and solidly firm. The legs that hold the microwave are plain, slick metal with nothing to hold the microwave. Had to use the microwave wallmout and drill into the metal frame of this mount just to be able hold it place, and added rubber grip to the legs for extra slide resistance. It does fell wobbly when opening and closing, but I believe it might be because I did not fully tighten the legs (meant to be able to fold them up to the wall).

Easy to install under kitchen cabinet above counter. Makes more room on my counter. Very secure and took only a few minutes to install using hardware and mounting plates/screws.

Product is finished nicely. Very stable and sturdy. Only problem is don't trust the instructions if you are using the wall anchors. If you drill a hole as large as they say, it is too large and the anchors will not hold. I would definitely recommend the product though.
Excellent microwave wall mount
Did exactly what I needed, freee up more counter space and holds microwave secure and steady. Check microwave feet align as my microwave the back feet aren't in line with the front which made it sit wonky on the arms. Easy fix wit a little cardboard on the arm by the back leg and sits perfectly level and straight now.

Finally hung these brackets today! I had to drill into concrete so it took longer than expected (and a little help from an uncle with appropriate masonry tools). So far so good! The brackets are sturdy and my microwave isn't going anywhere. The only thing I'd recommend is to check out the bottom of your microwave first—the "feet" on mine aren't actually symmetrical and they wouldn't have fit onto the bracket evenly, so we ended up having to place a shelf on top. If you go the same route, be sure to secure the shelf (using small screws drilled through the bottom) or try velcro or some other adhesive. This method also works best with microwaves with push buttons (as opposed to a pull door) so you don't inadvertently yank the appliance off the shelf.
Works great
Used this to mount my microwave to save counter space. Love that this comes with everything needed. However the instuctions are just pictures. So make aure you look at them well. And can understand how to mount them.

It holds the microwave. My handyman used metal anchors instead of the plastic ones that came with the brackets. I would recommend that as well just for extra protection. You also have to hold the microwave with one hand while opening the door with the other hand. I do this as a precaution just to make sure the microwave doesn’t slide or slip off. It does move on the brackets a little.

The manufacturer apparently found lining up the holes where the 2 pieces to be too difficult. Thankfully I know what I'm doing and had some metal drill bits available and made my own holes that actually lined up. Would not recommend this company unless you too have some DIY knowledge.

Did exactly what I needed it to. Fair bit of advise for anyone wanting to use this: reinforce your mounting space with two by fours mounted to at least two wall studs, 2 screws per board per stud. Then you can more easily mount the bracket to a custom width, which is required per the instructions.
Does what it says
It seems pretty solid.
Great bracket not so great fix
Very impressed with the look and quality of the bracket. The fixings supplied require the use of a screwdriver, which I felt would fail before the screw was fully tight after trying just one. I decided to purchase different raw plugs and bolt head screws so a socket wrench could be used. This felt far safer and easier to get the fixings fully tight.
Very sturdy piece
I thought I gamble when I bought this, because it looks flimsy on the product pictures. But in reality this is a very sturdy piece. The first thing you'd notice is the weight of the package. This thing is strong, much stronger than I expected. The manual is sufficiently thorough. The fittings are also good enough for the purpose.

The bracket worked perfect for my over the stove Microwave. One important step is secure the microwave immediately because will slide easily. I use two metal shelving brackets (L shape, 12inch long) that I use to secure the microwave against the wall.
They are what they are
Installed and so far so good. Note that "silver" in this instance is not really the same as in the picture. They are metal and painted a silver color. They do not look like stainless steel - they look like they are painted a silver/grey color. I question as to whether I should have bought the black or white ones instead because they sorta look cheap. Overall though, they are doing the job and I feel confident with the install. (screws through plaster and lath walls). Better option for me than a shelf because you can adjust how far they come out from the wall to fit your microwave.
