So easy to use!

I have used these filters since we purchased our Aero Press in 2007 from Common Place Coffee in Indiana, Pennsylvania. They filter out oils and even the finest grinds. I now use one with the silver metal filter. LOVE AERO PRESS!!!!

loyalty

There are coffee shops all about me. One on my block, several 6 to 8 blocks away. And the baristas (tip them well) make betterc coffee then I ever will. But the aero press is, well good enough

Produces a clean cup

I went from a French press to this, and one of the best parts is the filters. They give a much cleaner and smoother cup with no sediment. Some of the filters did have some rough edges though. It didn’t affect my brews but it’s unappealing. Overall, great product though

New filters are not a perfect fit in the aeropress premium

They haven’t caused any issues, but they wrinkle and don’t sit flat like the old filters did.

Proprietary aeropress filters. Work as intended. Sucks that the aeropress doesn't come with many filters like before, but at least filters for it isn't priced overly expensive

They keep the beans out of my coffee

Before these filters, the water and beans would just go right though my aeropress and make a pretty weak, gritty brew. Now that I have a way to separate my coffee and grounds, my mornings have been so much better.

Haven’t used them at all yet!

I assume they will work just like the filters that came with the aeropress- as they are just filters- but the seller decided to send me offers of free stuff if I write a review, so that’s what we do right?

At that price point, might as well buy the brand name. Helpful to have around for finer grinds or to remove oils. Sometimes a coffee tastes too bitter with a reusable metal filter. Using both together can first tell you if you have a lot of fines (they’ll be between the metal and paper) and also if your cup tastes better with them filtered out.

AeroPress Natural Paper Micro-Filters

Before buying these, I contacted customer service asking questions; Their responses were prompt and informative, and without pressure to buy.

Aeropress natural paper filters

Great, as a newby to making brewed coffee, it's nice not to have a gritty taste. Also to be able to dispose of coffee grinds and filter straight into our compost bin

Bitter free

I learned of areopress thru a podcast. Went in search of somewhere I could try it without having to worry about making a mistake on a purchase. The smoothest coffee I have had and I drink my coffee black the only I have added at times is cinnamon. Now own two xl areopress.

Perfect fit

Work as advertised, after I run out of the paper ones, will get a stainless steel for less mess. While the paper ones are not a problem, I would like to taste the difference!

A great cup of coffee

These filters work great. I usually drink espresso from my machine but on the road, my aeropress gives me a great cup of coffee- not bitter. These filters work very well.

Just as good as the standard filter, but why does it exist?

I bought the natural paper filters alongside the standard filters as I was running out of the filters that came with my new Aeropress and was curious about the new filters. Having now tried them, I don’t understand why they exist. They perform just as well as the standard filter as far as I can tell (and that filter is good!), but are slightly more expensive per unit. And the copy doesn’t even bother to explain what the “natural”, er, -ness, is for? Why even sell a more expensive product if you won’t explain why it’s worth paying for? Rather confusing. But if you just like the color (like I do), it might be worth it…

The best press

As a 12 year user of Aero Press I am ever sold on its simplicity and quality. I still employ a Chemex, bought in 1974, for large events. For my daily joe, it's the Aero Press. Such a well made, reliable product.

XL not up to standard

I’m disappointed in the XL so far. The filter papers just aren’t cut as precisely as with the original Aeropress. You can tell the difference easily: An original Aeropress filter fits flush to the edges of the base, and is smooth paper. The XL filter leaves a small gap when in place, and the paper is slightly crumpled at the edges. This means that, more often than not, the XL filter will fail at the edges, allowing coffee grounds to seep through in a way that the original Aeropress never does. The filters need to be made much better before I’ll be happy with my XL.

Great product, but you need an extra attachment

I love the aeropress. I’m in the army and love bringing it with me on missions and to the field. The one issue is that when you pour the water in, it begins to drip out the bottom quite quickly. I had to buy the fellow primo attachment on Amazon for about $25 so the water would sit in the coffee beans rather than pouring straight through.

Very happy!

I've been using the AeroPress for about a year now as my morning and noon coffee daily driver. I'm so pleased with the coffee and I'm excited to use the new filters!
