quality fixture, difficult install

I installed this light in an entry with a fairly low ceiling. I like that it's low profile, so makes the space feel more open. The black interior, which is more visible when the light is off, adds some contrast and style. The fixture quality overall is great, but the design makes for a challenging install. The tiny screws that hold the outer ring to the fixture are a pain to align and tighten. They could easily be replaced by pins that would allow the ring to snap into place. Also, the entire fixture is secured to the mounting plate by two screws on opposite sides that allow the fixture to pivot relative to the ceiling above. I guess the idea is that it's self-leveling, but since our ceiling is evidently a tiny bit off level, the result is that the reveal between the ceiling and the top of the fixture is uneven (tight on one side, and a gap on the other). I talked to the manufacturer who confirmed that the install was correct and that the only way to fix this is to wedge something in between the ceiling and the fixture to hold it in the desired position. The end result looks great, but the install experience needs improvement. high quality, bright, stylish hard to install, not secure

simply beautiful and well built

When I unboxed the fixture, I was impressed at the quality construction. I have seen a lot of tinny fixtures at the commercial grade, so was pleased to have purchases a solid fixture sight unseen. It also has a nice feature where the outer ring can pivot adjust such that fixture can always be installed level. Nice.

beautiful lighting fixture

This flushmount fixture is just the right amount of simplicity and style. It's integrated LED bulb provides ample illumination with a warm glow. It is well made and looks great in my mid century guest bedroom.

Nice Light; Terrible Install

Purchased light for a hallway. It looks great but was a bear to install and I've installed a lot of lights.

Nice hallway lamp to replace generic cheepo. Have lots of cool mid-century lights this fits in well. The light was brighter/whiter than I expected- bought a dimmer - works great. Will keep and get used to the whiter light

Looks great but VERY hard to install

Just finished three tedious hours installing 2 lights. The written instructions are not clear and the slight "intolerances in the alignments of the holes made it super hard to screw in the tiny mounting screws. Almost sent them back. If you are looking for a design like this keep looking.

fits perfect in our house - love it!

Beautiful fixture. Simple to install, though a second set of hands is nice since the lamp itself is fairly hefty. I wish it came in a smaller size so I could use it in another room, but oh well.

It doesn't sit flush against the ceiling without two additional screws into the ceiling (in addition to the circle mounting bracket). I have a flush mount light fixture (albeit more expensive) that weighs four times as much with the same diameter and it didn't require additional screws into the ceiling (which my ceiling can not easily accommodate because it's concrete). So the light now tilts slightly -- which is not OK. I see it all the time and it bothers me. I understand that this isn't a $2,000 fixture; rather a $200 one, but it should still sit flush against the ceiling with the just the circle mounting bracket. Perhaps if the long mounting bracket provided were made of firmer metal it wouldn't bow and the fixture would lay flush. I threw away the packaging so I guess I'm stuck with it until that tilt annoys me so much to tear it down and throw it out and buy another fixture.

Wanted a simple and modern flushmount - this one fits the bill. The retaining screws that hold the outer cover are of extremely poor quality and strip almost immediately. The locations of the scres also make it difficult to install.

Love this flush mount LED light. Perfectly complimented the bathroom remodel. Provides more light than the previous light.

I really like this light and it was EXACT style and height I desired. But only thing that didn't work was the diameter. I knew it would be iffy but liked it so much I ordered it. If only this came in a 6" diameter, I'd be all over it. Had to send it back because it was just TOO big around. very bummed and only reason it didn't get 5 stars in all 4 categories.

Stylish, bright, but install with a friend

The fact that this light is a flushmount fixture makes it difficult to wire and mount without a tall ladder or support boxes of some sort. I'd recommend having a friend help you out, otherwise you're going to have to get creative. That said, the light looks modern, puts out a large amount of (relatively) even light, is otherwise easy to install, and comes with simple instructions. The included bracket is sturdy and attaches easily to existing electrical boxes. What more do you need? I'd recommend this to anyone looking to spruce up a room with a modern, simple, bright ceiling fixture.
