This is a stunning light that was purchased from Lamps Plus. Lamps Plus provides outstanding customer service, assistance and even installation. A wonderful selection of high quality lamps were available. A must place to shop if you are in the market for lamps or ceiling fans.

not as good as I thought

I was a bit disappointed in this fixture. Once it is up and hanging and all the bugs worked out it is fine for my use and about as I expected it to be. Unfortunately there are a number of issues I had to deal with. I think the overall quality of the product is not near the quality I would expect for a fixture like this. Since it was replacing a 25 year old fixture, I have not had to assess quality versus pricing for a long time. I had the fixture hung by a master electrician because I just did not want to fool around with hanging it myself. I don't think that it would be a difficult fixture to hang for a do it yourselfer. There are several issues with the fixture. The first is that the glass globes are hand blown glass. While that seems like a good thing, each globe weighs a different amount. The globes seem to be different enough in weight that just randomly placing them on the fixture can make the fixture hang significantly tilted. I had to weigh each globe and figure out which globe to place on each arm to get the fixture to hang straight. In addition, one of the arms that hold the globes was noticeably lower than the other arms. I was able to shim that arm to the proper level with a very tiny piece of clear plastic. Lumens was very good about the whole situation and actually sent me a replacement fixture. However after realigning the globes and shimming the arm, the fixture looked fine and I canceled the replacement. While in the end the fixture meets my expectations and I like it, this is not an easy fixture to get to hang properly and I don't think I would recommend it to others.
