A Great Fan For The Garage!

A Great Fan! This was a little pricey for me, but when it came I could tell the fan was made well, sturdy, and worth the price I paid. It was easy to hang - you do need to anchor it in the ceiling joist as it is quite heavy. Three speeds. Blows great. And cools down my garage. I am thinking about getting a second one. Also, it is quiet! From a real customer living in Highlands Ranch, CO.

Great Fan But Needs Better Execution For Ceiling Mount.

Fan is designed to be mounted on a floor pedestal. When mounted from the ceiling with the handle down, the electric switch and cord are in the wrong direction for use. The fan name is also upside down. Fan does not swivel on the ceiling mount, had to construct my own swivel mount to make full use of fan. Had to cut off the handle and add another at the bottom to use the fan with the switch in the correct orientation. The fan itself is very nice.

Really moves the air.

It's ruggedly built but not that heavy that one person can't put it up by their self. Really moves the air and it's pretty quiet but not that noisy for how much air it moves. Mounted mine to garage ceiling joist to which I had previously mounted a 14" long 2"x6" board. Then used two eye screws in an adjacent joist to hoist the fan up so I could screw it to the 2"x6". Same eye screws were used for the secondary support cable.

We are a nursing home with 2 commercial kitchens. We bought 2 of these fans for each kitchen to increase airflow and help with soaring temps. These were exactly what we needed. We attached them to the ceilings so they would be out of the way. The airflow is adjustable which is nice. On hot summer days they remain on high and on cooler days they get decreased to medium or low. WE LOVE THEM!! THANK YOU!!
