Current Units Defective

As another recent review noted, the current units have an issue with the molded bottom of the unit. I am on second unit and both dumped water all over floor. If you take a chance buying this do a 24 test of watertightness somewhere you don't care if it leaks.

Cheap plastic, broken in box

I had to return this product, one of the water holding jugs was broken, some of the plastic and spring parts were scattered in the box. Be ready to be disappointed.

Do not purchase this product

I purchased one of these units from my local HD. Got home, assembled it, loaded it up with water, and thought we were good to go. Until I turned around and it was promptly glugging all of the water on to my floors. I am now on my fourth unit, the last of which is from a different location. EACH one is bad with the same issue, a giant hole in the bottom from the factory. There is obvious bad batch with defects, and HD is most apathetic about it. DO NOT PURCHASE.

Works good for the money.

cheaply made, doesn't last

6 months into owning this product, the lid that covers the water bottles has broken off (plastic tabs get stuck and break). 1 of the two fans has totally failed.

Lots of broken parts

There were three parts that were broke. I’ll give it 2 stars because the return at the store was so easy.

I live in a very dry climate and it is not kicking on like it should. Might have to take it apart and put it back together again. Am a widow lacking maintenance skills and the person who put it together for me is not available

Failed after four months of use!

Showing only two dashes on the readout and can not get past that unexplained error. Water tanks full. Unit is level. Turned off and on. Unplugged for thirty minutes and turned on again. Still two dashes and no more. This humidifier is very, very flimsy to start with, so have been careful handling it.

Works great...so far no issues. The only reason I gave it 4 starts is because I've only had it less than a week, not long enough to test durability!

Too loud on highest fan speed setting (3)

The unit works well but at our workplace we need to have it on the highest fan speed (setting 3) in order to see any increase in the overall humidity level in our office. Unfortunately, at the highest fan speed the unit is way to loud and is very distracting, even to workers that are in office cubes that are more than 70' from the humidifier.

This is my 2nd one. The first one crapped out after a few years, something in the electric that gave me an EE signal. So, I'm reserving judgement on this new one.

Bad product

I have bought two of these in the last 3-4 months and both of them leaked around the wheels. My wood floor is ruined and I will have to replace them. Do not buy this product. I had to replace the caps on the water jugs already. They cracked. Would not recommend Aircare products. Poorly made

Purchased in store because I could get it immediately and not have to wait for shipping. Mostly made of thin plastic. On automatic mode to achieve 40% I fill the two tanks daily for our 2600 sq ft, not including basement. Low speed is barely noticeable, medium isn’t bad, high speed is fairly loud. Humidity monitor may not be accurate, it helps to occasionally lay it on top of the fan to blow it out. Instructions were not updated for the latest model so no mention of automatic mode.

Cheap parts, arrived cracked, works good

Made with cheap plastic. Mine arrived with cabinet cracked - I'll be surprised if lasts more than a couple years. Made with bare minimum amount of plastic. If they spent $1 more on some injection molded tube framing plastic it would be a beast.
