Amazing self-controlling bbq smoker

I am in love with this product. Last weekend I just threw in a good deal of charcoal, lit it and set the temp via my phone. It stayed at that temp all day with no help needed from me. Cooked some amazing ribs. Great value compared with the Kamado Joe also. Get around it.

Excellent bbq

Excellent bbq. First use, Chicken thighs - turned out delicious and juicy. Need to open lid near end to increase heat and char a little. Bbq heats up surprisingly quick, nearly as quick as gas. Looking forward to doing whole chickens and brisket. Is easy to use and follow instructions.

Fantastic smoker!

Absolutely fantastic smoker. All the great flavor of charcoal and my temp remained rock solid steady for a 13-hour cook. And I can't believe how little charcoal it uses. This thing is great!

Temperature Controlled Charcoal Grilling!

I was at the point where I needed a second grill, and I almost opted for another Weber Gas grill - which are AWESOME! However, I had some burgers and dogs that a friend cooked on a charcoal grill and I forgot how good they taste after 20 years of no chargrilled food. My big concern about charcoal grilling is maintaining the temperature of the grill. The Akorn Auto does a great job in keeping the temperature within 10 degrees of the set temperature. I LOVE this grill!

Broken digital panel

I have had my grill since March and I love it but the digital control panel is broken already. I can’t seem to find a place to buy the part to replace.

Temp control, smoker,high heat grilling

I purchased one in March of 2024 I had to replace the temp probe after about 4 cooks and even after that I'm extremely happy with it. I love the easy interface and accuracy that it holds.it takes some getting used to but IMHO you won't find a better grill/smoker for the price point or maybe at all I would highly recommend it's the best of both worlds and very fuel efficient with tons of accessories

We bought this grill several months ago and it has been so awesome. I absolutely love that I can set my temp and turn the fan on and it doesn’t take very long and it’s ready to grill! Also works great for grilled pizza!! We love it!🥰

[Rewarded Review] Great Option of a Grill

Purchased the Kamado grill as a option to my Gravity Char-Griller grill. I expected to cook more item that I need direct fire under. The grill performs as it should but the timer\fan unit has failed several times will using. The grill space is great and there secondary grill kit that allows you to take things of the grill directly. All in all it seems to be a great option to regular grills and smokers but issues with the fan keep me from rating higher

Extra features make the grill worse

I've owned 2 Akorn Kamados, my first was the standard version with no extra features and this "auto" version. After having used the auto version I wish I had just gone back to the basic grill.
