Wonderful replacement kettle

We replaced our ageing electric kettle with this Alessi model. So far it has performed flawlessly and it looks great. Very happy with the upgrade.

Best kettle!

This is one of the best kettles I have ever bought. It looks fabulous and I get a lot of compliments on how great it looks. Very reliable and efficient.

This Alessi kettle looks great in my kitchen and works well. It’s fairly quiet. Very happy with the kettle.

Love this Kettle

Love this Kettle, although knock offs are available that are almost identical - it is good quality and rapidly boils water.

Best looking kettle I have found

Love the aesthetics, looks great and adds playfulness in the kitchen. However it takes a bit long to boil the water compared to my previous kettle but isn’t a dealbreaker

This is my second plisse kettle.I have replaced the first one after approximately 3 years as it got calcium erosions which were obvious white marks around the base.This kettle is used all day every day and I love it’s appearance in my black kitchen,well worth its cost.

Plissé electric kettle 1 L, white

Looks much better in the phots. It's very plasticky and does not feel robust. Somewhat hard to open. Better on instagram than the kitchen.

I feel that the product was a seconds item white marks on the kettle, packaging is questionable for RRP $250 I paid $150 something I wouldn’t recommend anyone to buy this kettle. I had a Smeg kettle perviously paid around the same price they packaging better excellent condition on opening.

Looks amazing. Kettle is very light even when full with water. Reasonable quiet to boil. Spout pours well. Had a slight problem with lid but Peters of Kensington were extremely helpful. So I was able to solve the problem easily. Overall excellent service and happy I purchased the kettle

It looks good. BUT that's all. It doesn't show how hot it's getting. It has none of the features that other kettles have. It's also very noisy. Would not recommend it

Cute Kettle

Really cute kettle! Really nice minimalist aesthetics, taking one star off because it’s a lot lighter than expected but it does the job. The opener is in a moon shape so it’s easier to open and fill up.

I desperately wanted this kettle for so long. It looks great! Sadly it is terrible quality which is surprising for Alessi and its price. The inside of the kettle is entirely plastic which is terrible for your health. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this one sadly as there is no other kettle quite like it on the market. I give it 10/10 for aesthetics but 3/10 for function and quality.

Playful design

The kettle does not look transparent , as written in another review. It is aesthetic , brings some nostalgia to the breakfast table , because the hot water for tea can be served easily in the pot . The water stays hot for a long time .

I am a huge fan of Alessi & the Plissé electric kettle epitomises the excellence of design that the brand is associated with. The look is modern & dynamic.It works very well & the pouring is excellent due to the design of the spout.

Beautiful

I saw some reviews about not being able to see how much water is inside. But you can easily just open the lid and look. In my opinion, the design is so beautiful that you would not want a water meter to disturb the look. It's one of the only appliances we leave out on our counter.

Wonderful design

Delighted with the design of this kettle . It’s light and very attractive ..I love looking at it and using it daily .. it’s handle is perfect , fold away cord a bonus . Just love it .

It looks beautiful in my new kitchen. Pours really well. It is expensive for a kettle but I have looked at it as a design piece as well. I didn't realise how much I appreciated seeing the water level in my last glass kettle, but this is just a personal thing and am slowly starting to judge water level by the kettle's weight. I have not commented on the quality as I have only had this kettle for a very short time and am hoping, taking its cost into consideration, it will last the test of time.

Not sturdy enough

I was looking forward to this stylish update to what is a standard appliance. Unfortunately the base did nit seem sturdy or stable enough for this appliance which is all about hot water. I returned it without using it.
