I would like to love this - however the finish is hard to keep it looking clean. Every touch or water spot leaves a mark and you can’t just wipe it off. You need to polish it. Which isn’t going to happen every day.

This wide escutcheon completely covers all 3 holes from our previous faucet. The shower head has fairly strong pressure, which is hard to find these days with all the rage for rainfall sprays. The shower head has limited movement; I like to point it straight down before changing from tub to shower and this one won’t do that. Thus, the reason for only 4 stars instead of 5. I went with this package set because reviews of the set with the tub spout included said that spout was cheap. I ordered a nicer spout to go with this set and am happy with how it all came together.

A few showers before it worked correctly

I was uncertain how this shower valve differed from others in the Moen line. I now realize it has just the 1/2" copper pipe sweat connections, which suited me fine. I think other models have more connecting options.

Bad gold

Gold color was too brassy for my taste. Was hoping for something similar to Delta's champagne gold. Hopefully Moen will come out with something similar soon. Also shows fingerprints easily.

Excellent, we paired this Align Faucet Trim with a Moen Cia Tub spout, works great - looks great. Requires a rough-in valve. We used the Moen M-PACT 2570 Brass Posi-Temp Valve. Brushed Gold looks darker than stock company photos, but not as dark as some other customers' photos.

The product arrived quickly and without damage which was good. Overall, I am surprised by Moen products these days. Some components seem to be made well and of good quality material, while others are very low quality plastic which appears to break easily. This is the 3rd Moen item I have bought for this project. I will be keeping this, but reluctantly.

I love the look. Not installed yet so can't comment on that aspect.

Good looking set of hardware, but the threads on the arm are such that to get it tight enough not to leak causes the head to point 90 degrees left! So to not have it leak we have to turn the brass joint it screws in to more than 90 degrees to compensate. We're not sure if it's the shower threads or the brass threads, so I'll only take off one star. The rest of it went together pretty well. Although the ring around the shower arm is designed in a way that it's hard to get caulk or anything on it to adhere it to ceramic tile. So 3.5/5 really.

Golden Shower trim updates master bathroom

Beautiful golden shower trim and shower head that really update our renovated master bathroom. Color goes well with other brand gold faucets. Easy for our plumber to install. Very good shower head water pressure.

pitiful visible screws--what were they thinking?

Bought this for a contemporary look in my spare bath. Wow, after spending the money to put in what was supposed to be high quality, I find out the screws are very visible...and the support staff say it was designed that way! Nobody home at Moen! I would never buy this product with this construction grade, low class flaw. I have not tried it yet. Hope it functions better than it looks! All Moen offered was to demolish my wall and sell me a more expensive (updated) version. Never again!

Love the sleek style. Haven't installed it yet.

Beautiful! Such a great addition to my new shower remodel. Moen is such a great brand. Since I wanted gold fixtures and didn't want to spend my life savings, this was definitely the way to go. My only complaint would be that it was missing a screw that holds the handle on and in place. However, all I need to do is contact Moen to have one sent to me. We just happened to have a screw that worked. The shower head looks smaller than ones I've had in the past. I was worried that it wouldn't be as good, but relieved that it's actually pretty great. Would definitely recommend this product.

Be very informed with what parts you actual need and what comes in this set. We had to get a plumber to provide additional items for this trim set

Incorrect Color and Painful

This is not brushed gold at all - its must more like the other customer pictures - not quite oil rubbed bronze.. but reddish. Also... taking a shower with this is like getting hit with little needles... it's terrible. Needless to say... we are now trying to replace. Save yourself the trouble and try something else.

I wanted to replace the 2 handled controls in an older shower and with a single handle control. I needed to replace the valve (fortunately had access) and install this system to acheive my goal. The trim kit is large enough to cover the old two holes. Very pleased

Love the fixtures, not the color

Due to the existing piping in our bathrooms, we had to use the line of Moen fixtures. We already had a gold theme going, so we hoped this would fit in. But it's not a brushed gold finish as described -- it's more of an orange-y dull brass. It doesn't really go with anything out there in the world of bathroom fixtures; so we had to make do with different tones in our bathrooms. However, we do love the hefty weight, modern shape, and ease of use. So we've learned to live with the ugly color.
